LoTR UNIQUENESS?Follow

#1 Jul 21 2007 at 5:54 PM Rating: Sub-Default
Hello fellow gamers!

I have been watching LoTR Online for sometime now and even spoken to a fellow employee at work about it, but I really want to hear from the other gamers out there. To put it simply.... How is the crafting system in LoTR and how is the player economy at this point in time? Thank you to all who respond!

I really enjoy the crafting system, even if some of the trades are difficult to find mats for. You get a trade skill set, each one has 3 skills in the set. An example is: Explorer gets Forrester, Prospector and Tailor. Forrester and gather wood materials and process them and leather into the materials required for other trades. Prospector is kinda obvious, gather ores and process them. Tailor makes light and medium armor using leather and purchased cloth.

Some others are Woodsman; make bows and staves along with some wood items needed for other trades, Cook; cooks things, Farmer; grows things to cook.

There are the usual armor and weapon makers also and scholars can make scrolls that can be used for buffs.

Interesting questions, considering those annoying, useless gold farmers attempting to ruin this game like everything else they touch focus on these two areas.

Considering I just noticed who edited the OP, I am now curious what the OP was. I hadn't noticed that when I responded.

Typically, when we edit out a sig, it relates to private servers, inappropriate links to certain sites or gold farming sites. Every case is different though.
