Do hunter pets level in BG's?

Hm, I don't believe so, but I guess it could since the hunter is also gaining exp. But at end game it takes like 1.5 runs in a heroic to go from 82-85, so they aren't hard to level.

No. Hunter pets only get xp from mobs you kill.

OK, ty for the info. I never PvP'ed much at all but just started to get into it. I figured I would reroll a toon and level him thru BG's so by the time I am max level I would not be thinking "Oh boy do I suck at this" lol

You guys think its better to re-roll like I did to learn PvP from the bottom up or should I just have tried to learn it with my 85?

How familiar are you with WoW PvP?

If you're going in completely green you're liable to get stomped, and it may be worth playing around some at low levels to get the hang of it.

But if you're feeling up to it, just buy your intro PvP set and go for it. The gear imbalance didn't feel too bad to me entering just recently with my warlock; whatever that's worth. I mean you're going to have trouble going toe-to-toe with anyone who's fully decked out in epic gear, but that's not everyone. *shrugs*

I almost never PvP'ed before a week ago and consider myself completely green. So far I like it a lot and am having a blast leveling through BG's. I am watching video's and reading strat I can find to pick things up to try out in the low level BG's I am in now (level 27 Undead Hunter with a spider pet).

Racechange to orc. Preferably female orc.
Undead hunters are an abomination.

For PvP, undead/goblin are ideal races for hunters.

Also, it's better to learn at level cap, IMO.

Yeah, you're not learning to pvp at 27 /facerolling people with aimed shot. Plus you don't have all of your utilities which because much more abundant at 85 where hunter pvp is much harder to learn.

Then go goblin, goblin hunters are kinda cute.
Still not as cool as orcs, but much better than undead.

They're not as good as undead, though. Disengage should be on a 16 sec cooldown anyway, so the rocket jump is kinda worthless.

Still beats undead because undead hunters are an abomination.
Also, you can never have too much mobility Smiley: tongue
