Well, the weekend is over and another week of work is upon us. How did everybody do on their goals this weekend?

Gaming Goals:
I did dailies in Star Wars Saturday and Sunday, although I didn't get to do as many as I would like. I also started an alt. I didn't log onto WoW or Rift and I didn't download D3.

Real Life Goals:
My son had a great time at the birthday party Saturday. They had this inflatable water slide and I could not keep him off of it. Didn't do a whole lot on Sunday other than relax.

I'll probably try to collect VP on the Druid and Hunter. I'm tempted to see how far I can push the Priest; however, I've hit Outland and you all know how I feel about that stretch of the game. I may try to burn more rested XP and get the other Alliance toons to 30 or beyond.

I let the VP go, I just wasn't in a mood to deal with PUGs. I managed to get the Priest to 63 and have managed to keep myself mildly amused by switching from Shadow to Discipline for a bit. As part of my plan to get ready for MoP, I spent lots of DMF tickets last time the faire was open and loaded my lowest level alts with heirlooms. This weekend, I successfully distracted myself by pushing my Paladin, Mage, Rogue and Shaman 2-5 levels each. I needed to burn lots of rested XP and I wanted them all over 30. Break is about to start and I want to get their various trade skills up. All in all, it seemed like a successful weekend for WOW.

RL: No Bunny this weekend. She is half way down the coast, visiting her sister and getting pampered with outrageous amounts of seafood. This leaves me at loose ends, with final exams/papers next week.

Despite the WOW binge, I managed to get out for xiao kao (skewers of grilled stuff, often lamb) and beer both Friday and Saturday night. Between BBQ, beer and the WOW binge, I kept myself mainly distracted from worrying about various things. Hopefully, I have convinced my students that I am hard hearted and evil enough that it isn't worth cheating on their exams/papers. I always hate watching someone crash and burn. Smiley: disappointed

Here's hoping that you all had a good weekend and that your week to come will go at least as well.

Another weekend with no firm plans
Play WoW - play Beta - play King's Bounty - maybe try out Diablo?

One thing I would kind of like to do is to do enough playing on my private guild alts to reach the next guild level. I think when I logged off last night, my private guild was at 97% towards level 8. I don't even know what the perk is but being so close is making me want to work at it a bit.

Real life plans - go visit family.

I played some Heroes of Might and Magic 3 and some WoW. I was a bit annoyed to be unable to get my HoMM3 working on my newer Win7 system even though it plays fine on my Vista laptop. There's probably a way to do it but I was too annoyed to work on it.

I did manage to hit level 8 on my alt guild right before heading to bed last night. Yay!

Real life is kicking me hard this year. Diabetes got added to my list of other problems with a call from my Dr's office on Friday. So, now dealing with medications and poking myself to test my glucose levels. Bleh On the plus side, having to pay attention to my diet is making me lose weight (had been put on low sodium diet back in April).

Gaming: WoW barely got touched this weekend by either of us. I managed to get to act 2 in Diablo, good times and enjoying things a bunch. Both me and the Mrs are playing mages, different styles though. Her's is being played melee, and I'm doing the more stereotypical ranged glass-cannon approach. Kind of neat both ways seem viable, so far at least.

RL: Hardly got anything done, everyone was a little under the weather. Didn't keep us from the trout farm about an hour away. The eldest thought fishing was a blast, as long as she didn't have to touch the fish, or the worms. Smiley: lol
