While our usual host is relaxing on the beach somewhere ... how did your weekend go?

WOW: I won't get to play much. We have a Wednesday holiday, so Monday and Tuesday get shifted to Saturday and Sunday. To the extent I get to play, I want to keep moving the Horde side toons towards a slightly stronger DK on one account and stronger support on the other.

Because of the holiday switch, my game time was fairly unfocused. Ah, well, I have a three day break from Monday through Wednesday. I managed to get the Belf priest a couple of levels past 20 and enjoyed the revised Silverpine quests. The DK is in Outland; we were stuck in TBC far too long and I groan each time I see that content again. Nevertheless, I managed to get two levels (now 62) and I'm telling myself that means I'll be out in 6 more.

RL: The Bunny keeps grinning and giggling. She has a surprise planned, but I'm not sure what.

Spring, when a young Rabbit's thoughts turn to adventure. The rest of the story fails to meet the PG13 limit. It involves a gullible old Rat and his failure to realized that one of Pfizer's cash cows is 1) essentially OTC here and 2) promoted in such a way as to encourage a certain "what if" mystique.

WoW: Still learning things the hard way. This weeks installment: Did you know if your 'bloated' buff from this months brew wears off while you're being shot out of the cannon you're wings will disappear early. It's a conspiracy to get me to spend more money on tokens I tell ya!

RL: This last week was the first in a long long time where people weren't sick. That lead to a weekend where we actually had energy to do stuff for a change. Anyway, that means the house is now clean (which can be loosely translated to say I can walk across the living room without stepping on a cheerio).

Also we just finished our wettest March on record, which is saying something. I'm ready for less rain.

14 randoms run as heals 7 satchels and some decent gear upgrades... Zul'Gurub was a breeze with priest heals... need to go back sometime with my pally and a group that has half a clue.
Unexpectedly worked on my highest remaining non-85 and dinged enough to work on engineering (so hit 65). Got around to ditching herbalism on the DK and picked up alchemy, had enough mats gathered that I took it to cap with only minimal AH purchases, 300 gold I think to go from 0 to cap as I had almost everything. Now need to remember to get on and do transmutes etc to "discover" the unknown ones... doesn't bode well when I couldn't remember to do my northrend inscription research.... now out of glyphs to learn from that method... only the books remain as discovery route that I know of.
Got a couple runs in as DPS... lowest character dinged 3 levels due to 2 dungeon runs with all related quests (was real close to the first ding anyway)

RL - cleaning and organizing this place, need more storage totes to do the sort properly, but with spring in the air... it's definitely "oh crud, get this junk that should have been done during the winter dealt with" as it's coming up on garden time etc.

WOW: I leveled my Hunter to 81 and made 11k gold on AH, so it was a good week-end.

RL: Home gym completed but I didn't play golf, I did some yard and garden work.

Raid planned for tonight - working on the boat in DS. I really miss my old guild as they made that fight seem so easy. :/

We went in and one-shot the boat. So - now we are learning Spine - whee

Saturday is the ICC thing so I'll be helping out on that.

I'm focusing on farming stuff that might be unavailable after MoP comes out especially from Scholo. I really think that the 6 mini bosses will be gone and so will the 4 item set pieces that can drop from them. I am also fairly positive that I won't be able to summon Kormok in there anymore either since he is from obsolete content.

Sunday is the usual family visit filling up the middle part of the day with some wow before and after.

Pretty much failed to complete all of that this weekend because I got sick. I spent a good portion of the weekend in bed feeling pretty miserable.
Actually, I am still feeling pretty lousy but not nearly so bad as yesterday.

edit to add: Ah - Beta key showed up finally - so I might poke around that a bit as well. :)

I did a very little poking around but with my framerate there being really choppy (I'm guessing due to so many people), it was making my headache much worse so I didn't last long the couple of times I tried.

Despite my trying to low-key it, I still level 85 with my Alliance hunter. Didn't level my fishing, cooking and first aid, though i did get the achievement for all three over 450. On the upside, I made over 6K gold, mostly by hide-hunting in Uldum and selling random drop greens and blues, which pretty much doubled my stash as of Friday.. I deliberately stayed out of dungeons other than one run at the Halls of Origination to help some guildies.

Trouble with dungeons, random or otherwise, is that all the best drops are soulbound and its hard to get rich at 8-10 gold per pop. It's better to wander about killing every red humanoid you run across. Their drops aren't quite as good or frequent, but are almost always profitable in the AH.

Busy, busy week-end! Probably not as much WoW as I'd like. Anyway:

Real Life: Resume, professional clothing shopping (ugh), unofficial transcripts, research school districts, and in general prepare for Teacher Career Fair on Tuesday, and then another one a week from Tuesday. Also, decluttering, laundry, and cooking.

WoW: Alt leveling, if time.

Well, I have an awesome resume. The rest of the teacher fair preparation went well, too. I'm really excited about it tomorrow! I made grilled, marinated Cornish game hens, which were excellent. Overall, I had a great week-end in real life!

WoW - I don't think I played any at all, but I hopped on Baldur's Gate briefly, so the week-end wasn't completely bereft of gaming.
