An early Happy New Year to everyone. I hope your 2012 is better than your 2011 and not as good as your 2013.

I only have one goal for this weekend, and that is getting my new computer working. I installed the OS last night, but my internet isn't working. The computer also isn't recognizing my storage drive, but at least it's recognizing the SSD my OS and WoW will be installed to.

If I can get the computer working, I wouldn't mind doing a raid. Other than that, I'll be playing Skyrim.

What are your goals for this holiday weekend?

I have no big plans this weekend. The usual raids aren't happening because of the holiday.

I will keep doing the Greench in hopes of getting the pet on my main. I will do some alt playing because it's fun. I will play some of my other Steam games.

I have no New Years plans. My boyfriend told me last night that he might be working really late depending on how busy they get. (He delivers pizza) I'm not much of a drinker anyways. I'm shy and I don't like being around strangers so going out on my own is not something I will consider doing.

WoW - keep pushing the holiday event, I`m getting stuck at a couple points, Dalaran is deserted so haven`t been able to do the dance as a snowman until my friend is home. PVP for 50 kills while transformed stinks because a disguised person is a kill target much as healers were :P

RL - 2 hockey games to attend and watch today, 50 -50 draws have been 35 and 85K for the winner so I`ll drop a bit of Christmas money on that!
no new years plans, MIGHT walk over to family but I refuse to put myself on the roads with the drunk and disorderly... only trouble is Saturday is my neighbours normal party day so with the double whammy I wonder how late they intend to party.

OK, my weekend goals tend to get a bit exotic, but this? Smiley: eek

RL: Finish the grades for my classes. Celebrate wildly, then realize that not only has the semester wrapped up, but the year has too. Celebrate more! I may have to go out in search of cheese.

WOW: Look at Firelands and reevaluate if I really want to grind out all the marks to finish it. Run some LFD with the druid to get gear for her. Ah, the joys of being a freshly dinged 85. Pick a new alt to work on during the break.

May 2012 bring you all health, happiness and prosperity. Failing that, remember that I'm already closer to the mountains.

THEY ALWAYS COME BACK!

Smiley: grin

Going to be busy Saturday night and Sunday, but today and tomorrow morning I plan on playing my Horde DK. It's... a challenge, getting back into it. Thankfully, DKs start out with a whole lotta good equipment, so it's all right. I've run Ramparts about 5 times now, and hit 62. So I guess my new goal is to run Blood Furnace? And level my mining and jewelcrafting (never done this before). I made a killing while leveling up my professions side by side in the last couple of days, and now I'm sitting on 600 gold plus my flying training and mount. So that's pretty spiffy!

Also might do some dailies on my old main, the insane druid. w00t!

Ummm I'm not sure what my goals are to be honest. I want to kick this cold I picked up first of all. If not I'm going to be home nursing it on new years. As for WoW I don't have anything exciting planned. Some BGs, dailies and a few levels on an alt probably. Smiley: smile

Hear, hear!

Main WoW goal: Figure out exactly which character I actually want to focus on. Indecision is evil, as it drives me to create new characters in order to decide, but then I have even more to decide among, making the indecision worse.

RL: Lots of tame parties. I'm living with my parents now, and relatives are coming from Scotland, so we're having an early party at my aunt's house (she said they're probably going to be asleep by 10pm), then possibly watching Cirque du Soleil (a kind of weird tradition we picked up), and then having champagne. I just got back from the Champagne region in France, so it's the real stuff. On Sunday, we're hosting basically the same people for dinner. Oh, and laundry and bills, of course. I do that every Sunday.

Failed to mention it earlier... I just came in from seeing the Denmark hockey team get stomped, friends couldn't use their tickets so I got to go instead! Yay me. Had a blast despite the running commentary from the guy behind me for benefit of someone who didn't care they were at a hockey game but just glad to get out of the house... which actually I was too, my first real outing since surgery, and I think I held up ok.

I just don't know. other than to make up for missing most of LAST weekend. Fortunately. I quit abusing Amateur Night year ago, so while millions of slack-jawed primates are counting the seconds as a ball drops, I'll be off in some remote part of Azeroth trying to avoid something that wants to kill me.

I thought Argent Tournament would be fun but its a major bore so far - even being repeatedy unhorsed by that Boneguard commander is getting boring in a disgusting sort of way. May put this aside and head to the war fronts or run a few dungeons to try and bulk up my toys and tools.
