It's Christmas!!!!! Christmas! Christmas! Christmas! Christmas!

Can you tell I'm excited?

Ok, so it's time to put together our weekely goals thread.

Real Life:
Going to my sister's for Christmas Eve. My separation agreement with my soon-to-be ex-wife says I get my son on Christmas Eve, so we are doing a "Christmas morning" thing for him tomorrow morning. He's only 2, so he won't understand that Santa (or Ho Ho as he calls him) came twice. I have absolutely no plans for Christmas day except...building my new computer, assuming my mobo gets here today. Got the rest of the components.

WoW:
Assuming I get my computer built, I would like to do a raid finder raid of all 8 bosses in the Demon Soul raid. I've done the first 4, but my FPS was so low it was crazy. I'm not raiding again until my computer is built. If my mobo doesn't come in today I'll just play Skyrim all day Sunday.

What do you guys have planned for this holiday weekend?

I have my inlaws over, so we are drinking beer together.

After that, we drink more.

RL: Relatives and entertaining the little ones. Also I may or may not have a new computer this weekend or next weekend. Once it happens I'll be transferring files and and drooling over the specs for a little while (really they won't be all that impressive, but relative is relative... Smiley: wink).

WoW: I want to PvP on my shaman and get to leveling my DK.

Oh, oh, oh! What are the specs SPG?

I got an i5 2500k, 8 gigs of RAM, at least a 6870 vid card (not sure exactly, the video card is a christmas gift from my dad), 120 gig SSD with a 1.5 TB storage drive, ASRock E3G3 mobo, 23" monitor.

Oooooooo... Smiley: drool2

I don't know for sure yet about mine, it's a gift from the parents that we've been talking about for a while. Smiley: smile

I'm 'probably' getting something about this, and I plan on upgrading the graphics card later. New Monitor and speakers too as mine are about 8 years old. But I said I wasn't picky at all on those, any monitor will be an upgrade and speakers that don't crack and make that 'fwub fwub fwub' noise will be awesome! Smiley: lol

WOW: Grind Firelands on the DK and do some of the new randoms. Firelands make my eyes bleed, but I like the new randoms. Try to get a couple of levels on the hunter or druid.

RL: I'm in the wrong place for Christmas. About as close as I'm going to get to a Christmas activity is going out for pizza and wine with some of the local expats. Any stockings will have to be looted off of one of the local elves. Hey, wait a minute, things seem better already!

That looks nice too, especially after putting a good video card in it. I ordered components for mine and will be building it. This is my first time doing that so I'm kind of excited about it.

RL - not much planned, maybe actually get out of the house this weekend
- browse Steam's selection some, getting games for $5 and under... lets just say I tried popcap and mousebreaker games and while they provided some distraction it was laughable their playability.

WoW - get my tailor into the firelands grind so I can make my own 36 slot jewelcrafting bag without paying 5K in the AH. Work on the holiday event on someone, there's too much of it to do on the 7 that still have stuff to do. Probably focus on the ones that have something done already to lighten the load.
Once I'm bored of the holiday event I'll work on druid/mage/rogue so I get another one towards 85. Really dragging with the cataclysm zones, but I know my buddy won't be on that we're running a warrior/hunter and a mage/warlock combo for quests with.

Haven't popped in one of these for a while.

I'm just preparing for Christmas. I'm baking Biscotti and Russian Tea Cakes for the family. I need to wrap my gifts, and maybe fetch a few more.

Other than that, I'm trying to ignore life. :P

Don't play WoW anymore. But I might (or might not) fool around in EVE. There's also a chance I'll be getting TOR on Sunday.

I'm probably going to grind out some Guild Xp in Firelands and level my Mages Tailoring and Enchanting. I might even start to level up some of my lowbies since I added them to the guild as well for the Xp perks and the heirlooms.
