I assume this is something that everybody sees if they play long enough - first time for me.
When I logged in today, my quest window is gone. I've searched help in game and WoW on the net, and haven't found any way to bring it back.
If It matters, I use carbonite, but it isn't new - its been bugging me for a week or more to upgrade.
What obvious solution am I overlooking?

When you start to log in, there is an option to disable addons. Disable everything and trouble shoot the usual way. If disabling addons doesn't change anything, run the repair feature (back up things like your WTF folder just in case).

In addition, every time they bump the released version, the client turns off "Load Out of Date Addons" and you have to manually turn it back on. This would also cause older addons to disappear while recently updated ones remain - and while this is going to happen when things come back up today after the patch hits, I don't remember seeing it yesterday.
