New WoW CommercialFollow

World of Warcraft ran their new commercial today, which featured none other than a certain Texas Ranger we all know about. I thought it was ok, but no where near as good as say the Ozzy Osbourne or Vernen Troyer commercials.
Watch it Here

Edit: Funny, apparently a certain name that rhymes with Duck Porris gets changed to Allakhazam automatically.

Yeah, Chucky has been filtered since a long time ago.

All these commercials makes me wonder if those people actually play the game or not.

Think about it. One featured Ozzy. Ozzy. No offense, but I have a hard time picturing Ozzy working a computer, let alone playing WoW.

William Shatner and Mr. T had the best commercials, but the Chuck Norris one is a solid third.

I never realized just how small Chuck Norris' eyes were.

They could have done it a lot better, melee hunter was a poor choice.

Yeah, I would have thought a tie in to the new monk class would have been perfect...oh well.

Lots of people on o-boards seem to think that this is the new human male model, and that some of these animations are examples of what human monks may end up doing in-game.

Dunno if that's actually true (I tend to take it with a grain of salt) but it'd be cool if they actually made human males look like something other than ludicrously pumped body-builders.

*watches it*

Oooh, God... I really really hope that IS the new human male monk model.

Some of those kicks look awesome.

No it wouldn't. Chuck is a sad excuse for a man, and the jokes about him are stupid, not at all funny.

Seriously, I know politics don't belong over here, but I have absolutely no respect for someone who is a birther, I don't care how good of a martial artist they are. Not only that, he supported Mike Huckabee for President in 2008. That dude is more crazy and idiotic than Chucky is.

"Opinions are like @#%^s, everyone has them and they all stink."

Chucky* is entitled to have said opinion. You don't agree with it and I certainly think it is dumb but being in this country give people the right to think as they please. The problem is the people who shouldn't think too hard about stuff are finally getting the technology to communicate between each other and create the retarded version of the Borg.

In regard to the video, I found it average. Something to please the Chucky* fan base but certainly not a commercial I would mention to friends to watch.

Edit: *Yes I am calling him Chucky because apparently Allakhazam = Allakhazam Chuck "You-Know-Who" Norris. Smiley: oyvey

Edit2: Damn you Allakhazam! Stop fixing my mistakes! That's for the rest of the community! Smiley: mad

Also, "birther" sounds like some kind of weird genetic cloning experiment. Like the axlotl tanks of Dune.

Why the bigotry towards hetrosexuals?

Chucky is a doll. Chuck Nοris is celebrity with a meme. Allakhazam is a word magicians use for sell-out.

That was my first thought as well, but Google tells me a birther is someone who still questions whether Obama's birth certificate is legit.

It was hilarious when they put that in and Filterspawn's signature started getting auto-corrected with it. I think it took him a week or so to notice.

Also, Chuck Norris.

It's an important issue. Imagine the possibilities that are made available if it turns out Obama wasn't born American. It would create precedence for future president elections.

Perhaps we'd even get the Terminator as president in the future. Around the time they wake Stallone up from cryo sleep and replace toilet paper with shells.

When I say 'we', I mean 'you', of course. We don't have anything as cool as a president.

Yeah I know. I just couldn't resist a mini-rant because I dislike the man so much. The political stuff was just the nail in the coffin though. I've disliked him since his internet meme became so popular during the early years of WoW in trade chat. I'm really easy to entertain, but I hate Chucky jokes with a passion.

I wasn't even aware that there were Obama jokes... and to be fair, Chucky jokes were incredibly pervasive for a significant amount of time. They were EVERYWHERE. As an example, say you really don't like Christmas music. What if, every single time you tried to play WoW (assuming you still do and you enjoy it), you had to listen to Christmas music. Wouldn't that make you grow to hate Christmas music that much more? Perhaps even to hate the holiday itself? Just a thought.

I hate it when stores put Last Christmas by Wham! on replay every December. Doesn't mean I hate George Michael, though.

Edit: To clarify, I hate the people responsible for replaying the song, not those who made the song. Chucky didn't start the jokes. He probably hates them as much as you do. Probably more since, you know, the jokes are about him.

It's PR, of course he's going to endorse it.

Doesn't mean he can't hate them, just means he can't hate them in public.

No, the fact that he's easily one of the five worst presidents of the U.S. EVER means you should hate him. You should hate the jokes because they are too true to be funny.
