Call Blizzard. Maybe "they" (the hacker) is resetting your password before you get to change the address? Call blizz, get the change done. Zam doesn't have any way to help beyond telling you to reach out to Blizz :P

I'm not sure if you use an authenticator of any sort, but I had a similar issue and followed the steps you followed and still had isses.

Someone suggested that I resync my authenticator, which I did, and all was well in the world.. of warcraft.

Good Luck

edit: thread I had posted with issue.

If you do not have an authenticator then you need to get one. If you for some reason can not get an authenticator then we should meet up in game so I can show you my Core Hound pet. Then you can cry.

The iPhone app has a resync button, but I'm not aware of a method to resync the key-chain thingy.

When I went away from WoW for about 4 months I had to call Blizzard and have them on the phone with me while I resynced my Authenticator.

I actually had to have them to take the Authenticator off of my account, and re-download the Authenticator app (iPod Touch) and give them my old serial number and the new one before I could even log on.

That's odd. I recently had to have them take off one phone authenticator and add a different one, and had no issues. They didn't even ask for the serial number to the old one. Basically, I had purchased a new phone last month, and it died last week. PoS wouldn't turn on, even with it plugged in to the charger. So I went and got a replacement, and called up Blizzard and had it fixed in less than 10 minutes. They just asked me some security questions to verify I was who I said I was.

I know if you have the iPhone app and you have an update for it you need to take the athenticator off your account before you update then reattach it

When I've called to get the authenticator taken off, sometimes they ask for verification, sometimes they don't. I think it depends on the person on the other end, really.

I've never had any problems with software updates to the authenticator app or iOS updates (and I have 2 battle.net accounts, one linked to an iPhone, and one to an iPad). But, before I ever do an iOS update, I back them up and then restore them after the update (I know syncing before and after the update should take care of everything for you, but it doesn't touch app data/settings). To do it, plug in your device and let it sync. Then rightclick on it in iTunes and select backup. After doing the iOS update, let it sync again, then rightclick on it again and select restore from backup.

I started doing this because of loosing my app settings and saved games (my bank role for a single player holdem game mainly) after iOS updates. It was after this that I switched to the mobile authenticator. The only time I have removed it from my account was when I upgraded phones and wanted to switch it to the new one.
