What happens if you try to enter a 10-man raid dungeon with 11 people in the raid group?

Same thing if you try to zone into a 25-man raid with 26 people, or a 5-man dungeon with 6 people; the last person gets an "Instance full" error.

Huh, don't think I've ever tried that.

Not that I remember doing UBRS with a 15-man group either. First time I did it was with 9 drunk Italians who didn't understand a word of English. Good times.

So it was a better group than a typical Dungeon Finder PUG, then?

Hmm I'm on Doomhammer a PVE server so we must have done something to enable us to get attacked, oh well live and learn I guess.

I joined a guild and it seems to be a basic new person guild or the remains of an old guild. Only level 4 and looking at the list 1 officer has not even logged on in a month. No events/raids scheduled. Guess I'll see how it goes. Already seen 10-15 people join and 5-6 leave in the few days I've been in it.

I am also on Doomhammer Eu..;) Currently an officer in a lvl 25 guild, mostly social, but we do have 2-3 raids scheduled every week. If you are interested in joining, plz feel free to /w any of my characters (Heavenslight, Cyanice or Azena), and ill be more than happy to invite both you and your wife;) I`ll also be happy to help out with advice etc if needed;)

P.S You are most welcome to /w me ingame if there is anything u need help with, if you wanna stay in your current guild;)

P.P.S Guild name is Thistle Tea Party btw..;)

Guess I will continue, it's kinda fun writing this.

I hit 35 with my Paladin Tep. Decided to try out a different starting city/race/class. So created a Dreanai Shaman and been playing with him. Choose Skinning and Herbalism for him, based on advice here and been having a blast.

It's interesting to have nearly everyting at my disposal as a Shaman, Totems for Support, Healing Spells and DD abilities. I've been yelled at in Dungeon Finder for curing tanks, but, WTH if the tank is >25% health, I'm tossing him a cure. I know it switches, but typically it's tank dies, then healer dies, then the DD's starting whining, So a cure from me that prevents that is well worth it. Anyway

My Shaman, Olan, got a /random invite into a level 25 guild called Bearclaw. I must thank the people here that said to get into a guild. The perks are worth the chatter in the guild, If only I could figure out a way to turn off the 'ding' X has logged on' notifications. The perks have been useful.

The Hallows End event just started and it's been fun and refreshing to see an event not aimed at level 1 characters. In FFXI pretty much all events can be done by level 1-5 characters and ALL the rewards are typically level 1 holiday clothes - santa hats, shoes, suits, pumpkin heads, etc, with the rare level 30 rewards that teleport you to different cities ( 10 charges then gone though)

At level 31ish we died so many times, used my water walking to walk down the nearly the entire eastern side of the west contintent to get all the flight paths and get the accomplishment for getting all the treats on that continent. Finally figured out how to get to Stormwind and now currently having fun with stinkbombs, pumpkin heads, and getting all the flight paths on this continent.

A big reason that it's hard to craft gear for yourself as you level is that you are leveling way faster than the game was originally designed for. As time has gone on, Blizz has made each level requite less experience than it used to. Thus you are whipping through the lower levels faster than the crafting (and lots of times the zones) was/were designed for. Back in Vanilla when I was leveling my few original toons the crafted gear was very useful.
