Princes was god damned easy on 25 man, but I just couldn't get my head round it on 10 man. They seemed to hit so hard, and the fact that we always had to put pugs on the the guy that put shadow orbs everywhere never helped much. While I'm no authority on raid balance, it didn't seem to scale well between 25 and 10 man.

Edit: Plus, having Aeth going berserk on Skype probably scared me a little more than it should have.

I remember it being one of those fights where the pugs we brought tended to die a lot. There was enough going on that it took people a few times to wrap their head around it all.

I liked the part where he created a rank called LOLDELINJA and demoted Delinja to it.

I don't raid with plebes, so you are safe.

I'm not Roman, so I don't see how that has anything to do with me. Smiley: tongue

I feel for you, Raid(/guild) leading is bad for your mental health.

I'm trying to stop doing it so I can enjoy my play time better. Herding retarded cats is not something I want to do unless they pay me.

It's not so bad when you're leading a guild like <Together to the Tôp>.

Just sayin'.

I wouldn't mind being a guild leader again (well I guess I'm still technically a guild leader, but that's beside the point) if:

1) Everyone had an authenticator
2) No one asked me to help them
3) People planned their own raids and PvP stuff and social activities and 5-mans and...
4) I could kick anyone I wanted for whatever reason I chose
5) I could steal anything I wanted from the guild bank
6) Someone else cleaned and organized the guild bank
7) There was no obligation to talk to people I didn't know or like
8) Someone else handled recruitment
9) Someone else handled all the in-guild drama
10) I had a throne surrounded by scantily clad females

Not that I'm complaining though, being a guild leader is certainly not without it's benefits. Though becoming a sociopath is the only one I can think of off the top of my head.

You wait until you try to organize raids or such.

You act as if I've never organized raids/bgs/events before...

No worries. It would be naive to think that any guild is above having its issues, but this guild won't be a fraction of as bad as groups I've led in the past, I can guarantee that.

Good times to be had with this group of people. Not sweatin' a thing.

There's a reason he has no friends and people hate him. I mean beyond the terrible pictures and Dr. Evil impressions and such...

Smiley: rolleyes

Edit: Where'd the Dr. Evil thing come from anyway? I missed that one...

I don't think anyone's hating on your abilities. We just trust in the soul crushing power of guild recruits.

There is nothing in any game that I've ever played as purely soul-crushing as raid leading in WoW. I swear I lost at least 5 years off my lifespan at Twin Emps. Not to mention TK and SWP. The horror!

I used to be very active as an alt-raid organizer but after 5 years or so of beating my face into that particularly blood-red brick wall, I'm pretty much done at this point.

Errr.. I mean... Good luck! =P

I've played plenty of games where I sat through horrible stories and worse characterization, in hopes that the last tenth of the game would tie it all together and redeem it in some way, and not only have they not, but I was rewarded with an excruciating ending that was worse than the hours of torture I had to endure to get there. That doesn't even count the ones where I get to the last boss believing the game barely half over.
