I hope everybody had a good 3-day weekend. I had to deal with Tropical Storm Lee, which meant I was stuck inside for most of the 3 days. Thankfully the power and internet stayed on, so I got a lot of WoW time in.

On the DK, I got her to level 72 and most of the way through Borean Tundra. I also got her mining and blacksmithing into the 350-360 range. I just need a little more cobalt and some saronite and I'll be ready for Cata professions.

On the priest, I did the Molten Front dailies every day. I've pretty much given up on the TB dailies for now as I decided the mounts just aren't that important to me. Maybe once I'm done with MF I'll go back and do them again. I spent a godo chunk of Monday farming JP BOAs for the gnome rogue I am going to level to help my guild get the Stay Classy achievement. I was able to purchase the helm and cloak from the guild vendor and had enough JP to get the shoulders. I almost have enough for the chest and should be able to get a couple of weapons by the end of the week.

So how did you guys do on your goals?

Raid tonight and Saturday night? I hope so. This whole not enough people showing up is getting really really old. >.<

No raid again. I'm seriously considering raiding this coming week with another guild with some friends. They aren't as advanced as my guild group but I'm feeling desperate. :(

I think my friends are doing Ulduar again on Saturday afternoon. We're working on the 25 man stuff. I already have my drake on my main but I will probably still take my main since I need the quest items off of the Keepers so I can get my Algalon key.

We ended up rushing through AQ40 and Black Temple instead. I solo healed BT and took my Warrior to AQ in hopes of getting some plate gloves to match her AQ set but they didn't drop.

I haven't done any Firelands dailies on alts all week so I may do that this weekend. I've been working so hard on collecting old gear sets instead. My Pally has the full red recolor of the Lawbringer set which looks really cool. I'm also working on the purple Judgement set for him. The whole 'only 5 instances per hour for the account' thing is getting annoying though. I'm glad I have several accounts so I can keep farming if I'm in the mood for that.

I did some Firelands dailies on the alts. I made some progress towards those gear sets I'm working on. I got my Druid from 57 to 60.

No big plans this weekend. I'm planning on the usual drive out to my Sister's house to visit my mom on Sunday which should be fun since I have a new (to me at least) car to drive in. Yay!

The visit went fine and I'm getting used to the new car. :)

Raid tonight...maybe take my mage through BWD or I might take my pally tank (I have a feeling they want me to tank lol) in any case I know I'm gonna gear up my mage more. Let my 75 resto druid build up rest xp, which sucks because I want him at 80 so he can start working on his Cata Alchemy and Herbing...

Got the title "Defender of a Shattered World" on my paladin this weekend, downed Cho'gal in BoT on Sunday after we defeated Al'akir in ToFW. Was able to get my t12 leggings as well.

Mage only got a couple of runs in and some slightly better enchant recipes, but no significant upgrades.

Druid got a few dungeon runs but sits at 75 still and needs more rest xp (or a tank to queue with)

RL:
Friday night wine & snacks night and finish watching second season of Damages. Haircut tomorrow morning, and several social events this weekend that I can't remember.
Friday wine & pizza, finished 2nd season of Damages, and started 3rd season. Saturday, now my ears are visible again, out to visit mother-in-law, then some house-cleaning. Sunday was a long walk around Vancouver and lunch for one of our monthly anniversaries, then out to dinner with friends in the evening. Monday we did some yard work, then up to Starbucks for coffees, then stayed in for the rest of the day.

WoW:
Same as last few weeks, still working on fishing/cooking dailies and professions for various 79+ Alliance toons, and their Classic Alliance city rep. My 79 shaman & rogue are in Cata greens and will continue in Northrend past 80, while my 7 other 81+ toons will continue in Cata zones.
As mentioned, fishing/cooking dailies and professions for a few toons. Also took my 81 dwarf paladin back to Hyjal to continue questing, and he got his Blacksmithing up a few more points to 523. Not much time for WoW this weekend.

WOW: No three day weekend here, but we get one next weekend for Mid Autumn Festival. I got to play around a bit on the Horde toons, but much of the weekend was spent on RL.

RL: Turns out the wedding my friend mentioned is the other next weekend, Mid Autumn Festival. I spent most of the weekend making sure things were ready for the first day of classes and Murphy had a field day. It turns out that newly ordered computers weren't ready, a classroom was changed, one class is actually going to start next week and the writing center is still filling slots. OK, I'm used to it. Monday comes, I am about to walk on to campus and I bump into two of my favorite students who announce they are looking forward to having my class. What? This is a two semester class sequence and they had the first section during summer school! Right. It turns out that they've all been lumped together. At least that chance encounter gave me enough warning to be ready for the surprise. Yep, I came home and ran the TBC cinematic. Smiley: nod

Wow: Minimal goals here, blow through rested bonus on 2 more alts and level them towards the next profession threshold, will have to do some outlands herbing for the inscriptionist who just dinged 301/375. Might actually go through what glyphs he can make and ensure all my characters have everything that IS available. Besides that, TRY to get into some guild runs to help ding the guild to the next level.

WoW: I did get through rested bonus on one of the alts, and then ground through EPL until I got Mr. Grubbs? something like that the pet carrion worm anyway, which took me within 2 quests of the zone achievement so I finished that up and then moved on to the next level appropriate spot... and cleaned that up and moved onto the next level appropriate spot. Ended up leveling 5 times without benefit of BoA or rested bonus... not bad for quest grinding through 2 more zones. Should be hitting Outland next weekend with this one. Nothing got run guild wise for me at least because my internet decided to crap out via the onboard network card and I still haven't 100% got the desktop running right.

RL: Was supposed to be at the farm this weekend cleaning up the garden but the car decided to act up. I have to decide whether the repair is something I can attempt myself or if it should get towed to the dealership and get their "lifetime" fuel filter/sender unit replaced. Still browsing property online, trying to decide how far from town to move ;)
Decided in the end because of the tools required that it was beyond my skill level and am just waiting to decide where to tow it, a covered trip with the auto-club (50km's free tow) or get it towed to the garage that we've had most of our vehicle work done in the last couple years, it's a bit further but they've been so decent about getting stuff done I think I'd know the job was being taken care of right without extras.
Another class out of the way! Time for a 3 day one now for certification! Yay.

On a side note - I see tags are still working since I knew how to mark for small, but my buttons don't seem to be working since last week, no green or red arrows and no struck-through text when I was fixing a previous post where I said CD and meant DVD...

It seems you now have to allow "zamimg.com" to get those things to work.

Yay! Weekend! My first regular weekend in forever!

-Firelands dailies on my mage.
-82 on the paladin.
-Perhaps start the Firelands stuff with the DK, though I think I still need to finish off most of Hyjal for her.
-Gonna play some with a friend, leveling characters together. Still haven't decided what to play yet.
-Did said dailies with mage. One or two days left to get to do my first turn in.
-Paladin hit 82.
-No dailies on DK.
-Started playing a Worgen warrior. He's hit level 19(two bubbles from 20). Also made a hunter to quest alongside my friend. She hit level 16, iirc.

The guild my Worgen joined has me a little worried, tbh. The GL seems to think that the measure of guild success is numbers, so I get the feeling it's gonna asplode with clam stacking nubtards soon enough. Until then, though...bonus XP! Smiley: tongue

Edit: Oh, and I didn't get a three day weekend, but since I have vacation starting today when I get off work(7 blissful days of nothing I have to do), I'm okay with that.

WoW- Second/Alt team raid tonight so I might grab my priest for that. Other than that capping VP on my hunter and trying to find some rated bgs.

RL- Going to enjoy the long weekend as I continue packing and getting ready for school at the end of the month. Probly play some Diablo 2 i've been having a lot of fun with a friend on a server I found.

WoW- Ran with the second team on my priest. Went well though t11 conent every weekend is getting boring. Won a few rated bgs, did 3v3s, and capped my VP on my hunter.

RL- Spent some time with a friend I havn't seen in a while. Other than that still getting ready for school.
