What makes you think I don't do that already? Well, it'd help if I had a front porch... Or children who lived on my block. It's quite odd living down the street from an elementary school, and not having any kids who live on your block.

And no, I haven't gotten either of my "special" birthday presents yet. =x I have to wait until next week for them.

I always hate it when a cashier asks what my birthday is. There is this awkward silence as I stare blankly into their eyes thinking "Ok you can do this, when were you born? Hastings? No, that was the town. Snickers? Be quiet stomach, grown ups are thinking. I know it was sometime in the late twentieth century... oh dur March 1985."

Yeah, being a Leo I am always quite aware of when my birthday is and how old I am. I don't want to say we're self-centered, but we kinda are. =x

Happy belated birthday! And you're not old. Old is being a 37year-old mature student in an I.T. programme with mostly 18-20 year-olds who refer to you as "Uncle Perry". Smiley: motz

okay yeah, I don't have it quite that bad. I'm still a 28 year old college student though! But I have enough of a baby face that I can pass for a normal aged student. =x Have I mentioned I got carded to go see a rated R movie a few months back? Yeah...

Down here you get carded for R movies no matter what, unless you seriously are a gray haired, wrinkled old man/woman.

It's only ever happened to me twice in my life. Once when I was 23, and ironically trying to sneak my 15 year old sister who didn't get carded. The other was last year when I was 27. I just find it bizarre that I never got carded when I was in my late teens, but I have now that I'm in my twenties.
