21 for me. Sounds reasonable, though I'd go as low as 18 before drawing my line.

Although I'd probably never date an 18-year-old. At least not if they're like the chicks were back in high school. I'm too old for clubbing.

Ah, Google told me that it's actually half your age plus seven years. So that would be 20 years. Sounds right.

That'd put my limit at about the age of these fresh grad students; which I could see being plausible if I wasn't married with kids and such.

I'm 25 but I still remember playing Atari way back when, along with the original Pong, and the original Donkey Kong and all of those games. Just because you're older doesn't mean us youngesters don't know anything about consoles prior to Nintendo! *Angry Face that I can't put up because I'm lame*

Oh the good ol' days

I thought everyone and their non-premium siblings could use smileys now.

And yeah, I remember teaching my dad how to play Tetris back when I was in third or fourth grade. That's... 16 years ago or so.

I sure as hell wouldn't date someone 9 years younger than me though. My minimum age requirement currently is 25.
Make that 23 and we've got a deal. Smiley: sly

Heh, well you are one of the exceptions I was talking about. I don't know if it's just the different cultures or if you're just generally more mature for your age, but I often forget that you're five years younger than me. =x

It's not the culture, there's plenty of immature people my age around here. I'm just that smart, cool, pretty and amazing.

But in all seriousness, I guess it's a mix of the way I've been raised and the **** I've been through.

And in my case, it's just because I'm drunk.

I'm not just dating someone from another culture, I'm dating someone in a different culture. The level of weirdness goes beyond the scope of this forum/thread. Smiley: eek

If it gets lower than that for me you are closer to my youngest brothers age than me so it starts to get weird. As then it turns into a damn you young thing and would likely cause problems.

But hey Noc you above the cut so Smiley: sly

I'm just thankful when everything gets weird I can walk to the corner store and order a slice of pizza, or a hamburger; or call my brother and be back in world of American Football and stuff.

You have my sympathies...

Smiley: lol

What's the age of consent in your countries? It's 15 here.

It varies from state to state here. What's funny, is that the conservative states have lower age of consent laws than the liberal ones. I think the lowest is 14 in Arkansas or Alabama, with Oregon along with many other states being 18.

Actually, the age of consent in the US seems to be moving up.

Various sites list the age of consent in China at 14; however, I have no idea how accurate that is or if it takes into account the various special administrative regions. For example, Interpol lists the age of consent in Hong Kong as sixteen.

Things worked out just fine for Edgar Allen Poe and his 13-year-old cousin.

Oh, wait, never mind.
