The class you don't like to play.Follow

#1 Jun 07 2011 at 2:40 PM Rating: Excellent
The least interesting class for me is Shaman, the totems turn me off. Still an interesting one but this is my least played. The healer role is the best spec IF i have to play it.

So what's yours?

Paladin, and to a lesser extent, Death Knight. Thematically, I like them both, but they just seem to boring to me in practice.

I've played the Death Knight less then any of the other classes.

I may pick it up at some point in the future, but the playstyle didn't appeal to me back when I tried one out. I'm not really sure why. Also something about having a level 58 character with no useful professions annoyed me greatly.

I should also mention that, although I LOVE the class, I can't seem to get a Warlock past level 40 or so. It's the only class I haven't had at max level at any point in time other than premades on the PTR.

For me it would also be a warlock. I also have a high level hunter but I don't care to do groups with them.

if obama can call him sellf black, i can call that affliction.

Kind of makes me miss hybrid builds though.

I haven't managed to get a DK past level 59. But for my active toons, it's my Draenei Shaman that is furthest behind in leveling. I've don't even bother with totems because they're too much hassle, and settle with going through zones 1 or 2 levels lower than she is. She's at 76 now, but it may be many more months before she even sees Cata content, although that probably won't affect maxing her inscription. All my other classes are 78 or higher and are generally more interesting to play.

I hate to say it, but Druid.

It's got everything I love. It can tank. It can DPS. It can heal. It can turn into furry animals and maul things.

I love having Druids in my groups. I co-tanked with a Druid friend for a couple of years. Given the fight druid, I might even risk Sudden Bear on Top Syndrome.

    I just ... can't level one past 30.

I can't get into playing a Rogue or Death Knight. I've levelled a Rogue to 70 and then deleted it, and my Death Knight has been in charge of my guild bank/auctions since Naxx was current content.

Rogue and warrior. The pure melee classes I just can't get into. I've never been able to get one past level 5. My pally I'm leveling holy so it's not melee at all, DK I don't really see as pure melee because the abilities are magic based with the runes and all.

Have to go with Hunter. I have one sitting at 80 ( leveled him during late BC, early Wrath ) but cannot bring myself to drag him to 85. Sad, really.

Melee classes I like, however, doing the Cata dungeons with melee DPS is really dependent on your healers skills, and your own self heals, so much random AOE damage.

I'm currently working on a Priest, level 70. Kind of paused in leveling because 70's PvP is so much fun, and filled with awesome moments. Have full Brutal? ( Not sure if that is the appropriate tier ) and its a blast. PvP healing was never so interesting and enjoyable.

That's OP? Seriously?! Your video is a level 73 killing level 67-68 mobs with a 69 once in a while. I can kill that fast on any of my toons at that level. []

Warlocks primarily, warriors secondary. My highest warlock is level 18 or such, my highest warrior 23. Warlocks, to me, at that level, felt too much like wannabe mages with stranger and more unreliable survivability and less damage. They've never suited me. Warriors I've tried, but have never really gotten into with no particular reason at all. Shamans used to be on this list as well, but I played one as enhancement to somewhere around the 60s with the GF before I quit - totems can be annoying, but that was fun enough.

They can put dots and run around all day...seriously! It's ridiculous.

I don't like any melee class. I've tried them out but I really don't care for the DKs, pallys, or warriors.
    #18 Jun 07 2011 at 7:19 PM Rating: Decent
DK is the only class that wasn't able to hold my interest long enough to take it to 85, although I haven't tried your personal bane, shaman yet, so can't comment on them.

Most classes have their levels where things don't quite click. Over time, I've found myself forced to play through the doldrums of rogues, druids and shaman. Not so with priests. I've never been able to get one past 20. I'm not a healer and as much as I would like to think SP would be amusing I just haven't been able to grind to the point that it started to click for me.

One of the changes I'm looking forward to (nope, we're still frozen in Northrend) is that Cata seems to have tried to smooth out some of the more annoying grinds. Are druids still unbearable before level 10?

I can do the same thing on my mage, priest, and hunter. It's called kiting.

    Death Knight.

I took one to 80 and I just don't like them.

I've never liked rogues or cat (DPS Feral)... I hate the combo point stacking.

The one class I could never get to grips with was rogue. I enjoyed sneaking about, the ability to lockpick, stuns and particularly vanish. I just never felt like playing much more than 30 mins at a time with him. Similarly hunter, even though I enjoyed many of the skills (traps, being able to name your own pet (he was a wolf and thedude if anyone is interested :) and general god-like solo abilities I just never clicked with the class.

This is a bit (completely) OT now.

I have just started again after one of my longest breaks (a year and a 1/2-ish). I used to have a warrior that I hated trying to level with; I found my niche with tanking and learned to love him for prot. I still had nightmares of arms levelling though. However, I rolled a new one when I started again, simply because it was the one dps spec I had never really went with. What can I say, I freaking love my new arms warrior. I like to stop my xp at x4 then x9 and really absorb what I would otherwise have flown past. BG's, dungeons and questing. That's without heirloom gear as well, it seems impossible to complete a zone of q's and dungeons without greatly out-levelling it in the process. I know I may look back and laugh at these words when I want to go 70-85 but I'm happy just now!

I just wanted to rave about my new warrior, seriously, I love him.

...or not...nothing to see here, move on.

Edited because I'm an idiot, but, everyone already knows this.

Arms, in my opinion, is the preferred spec. I can't get into Fury, although I think its a good spec. I love my Warrior, I've had him since the day WoW went live; first character I ever created. Remember, warriors tank with their beards....oh, alright, and armor, and a shield...and a really scary looking weapon...and vicious bleeds...and, well, you get the gist, I'm sure.

Rogue. I like the idea of it but I find it incredibly uninteresting to actually play.

As subtle as an orc, my hunter was called Walter...

I never claimed to be subtle! Leave me alone! :p

Edit: I would also like to point out I refused to use anything but guns. Subtle continuity. Hey, I really managed some subtelty! hurrah for me!
