So I've given a bit of time trying to heal Nef and tank Cho.

Who has done them, killed them and can give pointers.

Interrupts on Cho was sloppy and the other tank had no vent so that didn't help.

Nef was either mana ok or a nightmare, as in coming out of P1 or dealing with P2. Never had much time in P3.

So assorted folks, give knowledge.

Healing Nefarian? There's your problem, you should be healing the players.

On a serious note I can't help, sorry.

I have some videos of my group killing them in my sig.
Cho'gal, if you dont interrupt quick, you are going to fail. Your group need to be the quickiest possible. A frost DK/shaman/moonkin/hunter can interrupt that quickly. Adds, you will usually aim to go to phase 2 right after the 4th big add pop. After killing the first batch of adds on the second phase, make sure he isnt throwing fire and take him atop the stairs, so next batch of adds pop in the stairs, making it easier to interrupt them and possible to down them with AoE. Kill them quick, resume to Cho'gal.

Nef, we usually try to hit the 3rd Eletrocute right after Oni dies, so theres time to throw a Tranquility before the lava. People need to get out of lava quick and interrupt the small adds everytime. If your dps is too good, try to get nef down to around 63~62% before going to 3rd phase. 3rd phase, position everybody, get the Eletrocute, burn him as quick as possible. Tanks need to know how to kite him right. Since I never did it, only saw, Im not sure I know the perks of kiting the big adds. All I know is that Nef tank will sometimes have to rotate Nef and people dpsing will have to look out for fire patchs in the ground.

Good luck.

edit: Oh, first phase of Nef, have a decent frost DK that know how to kite things. Will make it a simpler fight.

For Phase 2 on Nef, use PW: Barrier while on the pillar right before an Electrocute. It really can help. Atonement may be enough to keep people up from the random fireballs, but I don't know. Never healed that fight as Disc.

Keep in mind, the fireballs Nef shoots at you during Phase 2 are not an AoE, despite them having an AoE-like graphic. You can clump to your heart's content (this was a confusing point in our guild, I don't know if it was in yours or not).

Cho - never tanked it, but interrupts are really important. During the fire bit we have the whole raid clump up at his heels and a warrior tank use his stun thing (I know a lot about warriors...) to interrupt the worship. I think avengers shield works as well, but if your tanks can't interrupt easily then make sure the rest of your raid is. When my guild was wiping on Cho I looked at the combat logs and sometimes the buff he gains had a 40% uptime frequently with more than one stack. That leads to dead tanks and oom healers. We also had issues with add control, but getting a hunter pretty much solved that.

Nef we do 2 electrocutes in phase 1 and 1 in phase 2. First time we downed him we skipped the one in phase 2. Bit hard to give advice without more information on what seems to be going wrong. Might be worth rotating big cooldowns so you don't end up with overheal on one electrocute and then nothing for the next one, of course this will depend on who else is in your healing team. As a boomkin I also pop tranquility either on an electrocute or just before/just after phase 2, so consider your dpsers cooldowns as well for helping out healing. Phase 3 is fairly simple unless you are on the kiting tank, we stack up in dragon dps position (by the back leg) and then move when Nef is rotated or to get out of the fire. When I'm healing I try to help out on the add tank when he's in range.

I'm probably not much help on discussing healing strategies on Nef, other than to say that people using their personal damage reduction CDs on Electrocute can make a HUGE difference.

Can you give a little more detail on Cho'gall? Sounds like you're fighting him on 10m and have two tanks with one peeling off to take the add when it spawns? Are you having problems with tank deaths? Are you getting him to P2 but people's Corruption bar is too high? Are you having problems getting the adds down before Corrupted Blood or DPSing down the little slimes that come out? All of the above?

My personal (generic) experience with Cho'gall is that it's all about control and discipline. Interrupts have to be spot on. Players need to avoid getting Corruption built up. You should be shooting to go into P2 with 0 Corruption (or at least less than 20). I've noticed also that sometimes the swirly for the shadow crash from the adds does not render correctly on the trap door, which can really hose your healers.

In P2, players need to be good about switching to and interrupting the tentacles that spawn from the ground. It's tempting to just try to burn him at 6%, but you'll end up wiping. Usually we seem to be able to ignore the tentacles at around 1.5% or less and not wipe. Late in the fight, people need to be good about turning away from the raid when they're going to vomit.

Anyway, more info on what specifically is going on could be really useful. Hope it's going well for you.
