Mmhmm. The boomkin ones look pretty cool too. If they don't ***** up Eclipse like they're planning, it'd be nice.

Finally a set bonus that doesn't require us to break our rotation to benefit from it.

Extra damage done as Fire damage is interesting. Paladins and Death Knights would be at an advantage, it seems, given that they have passives that increase their spell power in some way. Depends on whether the fire damage scales with spell or attack power.

All the fire damage 2 piece bonus will be very mediocre if they don't roll like Deep Wounds.

Feral 2-piece may do interesting things to our cat rotation if the dot doesn't stack. At the very least it'll encourage spreading out attacks (doable with the stuff we juggle, we're not GCD locked) and for those who can't do so boost our damage when we're energy starved (since it takes 3 seconds to get another Shred). Bear it's more threat and the dots work fine.

4-piece... bear is ok, but cat is lackluster. We spend Berserk spamming Shred and we're out of energy by the end of it, extending the Berserk duration doesn't change much. Now if it reduced the *cooldown* that would be awesome and could make Ferocious Bite useful above 25% again.

and we edge back into the "to bloom or not to bloom" debate. That could be tough one to trigger with so many spells working with empowered touch.

Holy ****! Hunters actually get decent set bonuses! As long as that fire damage isn't terrible, and all the fireland mobs don't have flame resistance, which I believe I read that they won't. They probably will and our fire arrow will do absolutely nothing.

It'll be interesting to see what the final numbers for the Feral 4pc bonus are. I read the current ones as +102 seconds with a 5pt finisher... gogo perma zerk!

Boomkins are awesome. Well, in theory.
Resto 4 pieces is bad. Letting it bloom and reappling is wasting time. They should turn LB into a 1 cast thing. Having to stack is pretty dumb if we will have to let it bloom.

Why does that mean the end of fire? O.o Even if fire were 20% below Arcane, people would either switch to frost or stick fire, because most magi don't like falling asleep during a fight. -=11112111121111211112111121111211112811112111121111211112111121111211112111121111211112111121111211112811112111121111211112111121111211112111128.
There's a boss fight for an arcane mage, yay.
-: Mirror Images
=: racial / lifeblood
1: AB
2: AM
8: Evo

Now, that two piece, that two piece is SEXY for magi.

Since Fire is elemental damage, the SV mastery should provide a damage multiplier, too.

I'm confused, does that mean that our direct damage fire spells get extra crit chance, or can they proc from non-crits, or have I totally missed the point?

If by that you mean freaking awesome overheal, then yeah, I agree.

I envy the Priest 4 pieces, right now :(

It'd be nice to have something more universally useful for sure, and yeah, I imagine the over-heal will be pretty high.

But look at it this way: once you get 5-6 stacks of LB rolling, that's like 30 seconds where you'll barely have to worry about anyone dying. Add that to the 2-piece's mana return, and I see a bit of potential. More burst at least? *shrugs*

Edit: Really in the end we seem to have a situational bonus that should allow us to blanket the raid fairly effectively with HoTs in a WotLK fashion for a limited amount of time. I suppose whether or not that's useful will probably depend a lot of the encounters over the next couple of tiers.

Also, Priest's bonus sounds like a mini-lightwell...
