Ok, I have not read PnP but that was hilarious.

Does the book actually have ninjas, werewolves and Parcheesi death matches?

Of course. You should read it. It's a suspenseful, edge-of-your-seat thriller.

Above all, it's exciting.

No, sadly it doesn't. The Pride and Prejudice and Zombies might, but I wouldn't know as I haven't read it due to me being a purist and all. >.> It's a pretty funny book though if you pay attention. The exchanges between Elizabeth's parents in particular are quite humorous.

I actually got Pride and Prejudice and Zombies as a gift. I havn't got around to reading it yet, but it does look like a decent read. I havn't read Pride and Prejudice so I can't make any comparisions. The quotes on the back of the book are funny at least.

Grats on the 4k btw.

P&P&Z is essentially the exact same. But with random scenes of zombies thrown in.

For example, towards the beginning the five sisters are at a ball together. Zombies randomly break through the windows and start slaughtering people left and right (graphically, I might add). The sisters get in their Pentacle of Death formation and pull swords out that were strapped to their legs, and start methodically decapitating zombies left and right.

Afterwards, it's never mentioned again, and the main sister and Mr. Darcy continue on with their hatelove thing.

So yeah.

Yeah... this may sound weird or hypocritical, but randomness like that doesn't belong in literature unless it has a specific purpose. I get that the authors are trying to make Austen appeal to a more "modern" audience or whatever, and I have to applaud them for that at least (although I don't want to). Randomness can be awesome in TV or a short video like what I posted, but it just doesn't belong in literature.

If I had only found alla years earlier. A measly couple-dozen posts a week can't compete with everyone who has been around since Everquest or FFXI. Smiley: frown

Post more in OoT. I did that a year or two ago, and my post count shot up from about 500 to 2k in a few months. =x That was when I wasnt playing WoW though, so I felt like I had no reason to post here. I don't have enough time to keep up on the posts here and the posts there, which is why I don't much there anymore.

Yeah, I'll OoT when I end up quitting WoW. Until then though I try to stay away; as I probably waste to much of my time on alla already.
