Mage pets are also fun if you know a enchanter and a druid. Have enchanter charm newbie mob (IE emp crush). Cast Rune, Haste on mob and hand them full set of mage weapons/armor. Then have druid cast regen, hp buff, and of course a good damage shield.
Me and a friend had some fun in crushbone with that one night :p
Think "Druid AA DS". At Rank 3, it's 650 HP DS. Strangely enough, it can be cast on even level 1 PC's. Playing on Rallos Zek (now Zek =/), I loved to give it to noobs I P lvl'd and guildie alts who had trouble with PKs.. just told them to avoid contact until they found the PKer, then let him beat them as he pleased. The best part is that it's only a four-minute recast timer. Cast it on the noob, let him get hit, then just instantly reapply it. Along with the normal 24 DS for lowbies and, if you care to use it's timer, a Wrath of the Wild line AA, you're talking over 700 DS for the first two hits, then about 50-100 for the next minute or so, and then 24 for a while after that. Of course, most the noobs died on the first hit.. which was great fun. Sometimes, I'd have a noob who a Rogue would want to kill for his/her gear.. the would would come up, backstab, then get the "LOADING, PLEASE WAIT.." message, only to threaten to report the noob for hacking. :D
Anyhow, same thing applies to low end creatures. In truth, though, a Druid who Charms/SoWs/Hastes/ResistBuffs/DS's/uncharms/memblurs animals in the high end game is pretty much doing the same thing solo to anyone who tries to hunt the thing. Wait, why'd I say SoW? I meant, SoE! Then you get see-invis MOBs that run faster than SoW, have +40 to all resists, have a high burst DS and normal DS on them, improved regen, 70% Haste, +30%-ish damage per hit, running around like hell spawns.
Well, that's my off topic post for the day.
