We all have those people in our lives that just aren't happy goody good folks. Thats why I want to play an evil Erudite! I used to have an erudite from Nek that I deleted when I shouldn't have (long story) but now Erudites are only Goods! Sigh., Yeah, I know I could betray, but I really dont want to go through all of that!

Did it change? They've always been neutral in EQ2.
Edit: Just checked in game.. They're neutral, you can go start in Neriak and be evil if ya want.

I have a very evil Erudite. And since she's so evil, she's lots of fun. 
And if you DID want to betray, it's really not that hard. I did it in an afternoon.
My only problem is I keep expecting evil people to like my reformed rat.
