I've gathered up some licorice and some candy corn. Aside from making me crave candy, what are these for? What quests can low level players do at this unholy time? What fun stuff can I get into?

O.o, there's all kinds of fun stuff. Those candies you've gotten are for Nights of the Dead crafting! There's trick-or-treating, TWO haunted houses, and a new hedge maze zone!

Oh look, here's a convenient event guide! *grin* Nights of the Dead

OMG I just met Althius Volfbane this morning and it didn't even connect. Too funny.

I must say, the new Hedge Maze is a blast! It's like a strange cross between Unrest and the Harrowclave mission in Splitpaw. I for one am super happy that Loping Plains haunted house now lets you choose the recipe to make the mirrors!!! OMFG I think I did that quest at least 20 times last year to get a stock of those mirrors (they make excellent fish tank walls).

The candy that's dropping off the mobs is for NotD crafting. There is a NotD merchant at each city's tradeskill faction that sells recipes and other NotD stuff.

Also, in FP and Qeynos, there's a goblin that asks you to trick or treat for him. Depending on how well you do, you get several masks to pick from.

dont forget you can buy illusions from a Halloween merchant in WFP in the tradeskill area. You can buy stacks of different illusions to wear when the fancy hits. One of the new ones Im really enjoying is the scarecrow

I hear ya. I'm very glad that the added the recipe.. much more efficient to choose that as a reward instead of the mirrors by themselves, now. :)
