solo shard zone?Follow

You can get access to a daily solo shard zone in Lavastorm. It's a boring, highly repetitive 20 minute or so quest. You just do the Order of the Flame questlines in Lavastorm, there's a quest to cleanse the temple of ro, that's the one you can repeat every day. You do need to do some quests first before that one comes up though.

This is the quest you want to get to, if I'm not mistaken.

I've done it myself for a couple of times, I should take it up again, only need to do it 46 times or so for a decent armour increase.

Ok I will mention it then.

The gist of it is, Specific Zones (Everfrost, Commonlands, Lavastorm) can be scaled down, to allow players who want to do the level 50 content to enter. Fifty is the Lowest possible level that can enter into these zones however.

So you make a group with your buddy who is Level 50-? something lower level then you that you can handle, possibly still green, and then you proceed to do the zone as normal.

You will get no AA, XP, or Ornate/Exquisite Chest drops from the named mobs if they do not Con. Plus in each zone, one mob drops a special key, that can be used to open a "magical" chest somewhere within the zone, and if you are not the level of that mob you will not get that key.

Otherwise, if you can just unmentor, boot the level 50 person from your group and proceed to work on your shard mission unmentored in a 'grey' zone.
