Good Morning, ZAM!

I spent the weekend finishing up and cleaning up the event items that are coming soon (TM) to the live servers. Then I hopped on the boat to RoK zones on Test and beat my ratongan head against the decks of the piers as a result of the unresponsive quest givers there and all over the zone. :P Still trying to figure it out. :(

More preparations for Fan Faire next week! Woot! Dragged the huge suitcases downstairs from the attic and spent an hour trying to shave pounds off the weight of my golf clubs. Down to 75 pounds. Guess I'm going to be paying for the additional 25 pounds cause unless I just bring the bag and leave the clubs at home, I'm not gonna make the max weight restrictions. Ordered a special tee-shirt from cafepress.com for some comic relief at Fan Faire.

Got the camera all packed and all the necessary cables for the laptop, blackberry and camera. Started documenting the cell phone #'s of all the people I plan to meet up with in Vegas. :) Got the best text msg ever from one attendee.. "Im in ur phone. Painting stuff pink." Obviously Winter.. XD

Btw.. for those not attending who want to keep up with all the goodness and fun going on in Vegas next week.. I'll be tweeting on twitter (twitter.com/spyderbite). I'll also be sending updates to Facebook (www.facebook.com/spyderbite). And, I will be tweeting from (twitter.com/eq2zam) as well as blogging our adventures on the EQ2 ZAM site. :)

I don't have a lot to contribute but I'll try.

I made a wood elf swashbuckler and started in the fairy zone. I got to meet some mushroom looking things and managed to attain level 10. I joined a guild with some really nice people in it, I was surprised at first when you could use voice chat in guild. I also created one of the lizard men barbarian to try a different class, whom I got to level 5. I think I will continue with my swashbuckler, as I find that the lizard people aren't as nice looking, and it's strange playing something that is so long. Also I just prefer the swashbuckler class.
