I just got a new pc and loaded up eq, but when i went to start up the game i got an error from the launch saying that it cant run launchpad pad and directed me to download the launchpad from http:\\launchpad.station.sony.com

Does anybody have any ideas on this?

If you're on Vitsa, make sure you have it set to run as administrator (Right click the icon and select run as administrator.

Barring that, maybe you got a corrupted file. Re-download it, or try the Beta Station Launcher. installer (eq2)
