My computer will run EQ, but I like EQ2 sooo much better. Even if it's not the best quality, will it at least work a little?

What aspect of the word "REQUIRED" did you not understand?
The requirements for EQ2 are MUCH higher than EQ and they are requirements not recommendations. And just to be clear, no you can't run the game "a little bit" with what you have.
To run EQ2 you will need to upgrade some or all of your hardware. From the two items you note as missing I would guess that your video card needs to be upgraded but you may well need a better CPU and more ram before you can run the game at all.

I know what required means. Sometimes though, just certain things don't work.

With EQ2 it's almost always memory or video card holding someone up. Judging from your OP, your video card may be a problem.
