In my room, I have a critter I got with an expansion that spits out high level items when fed plant food. It's missing from the room. Whazup?
Your plant most likely walked off somewhere and is hiding in furniture. Go to your housing door and click access on it. Look for a button labeled "Retrieve an Item" and pick the plant up again.
Things I sometimes play...
