This weekend saw newbie me complete my betrayal quest on my Fae Templar. The walkthroughs for the quest in Kelethin were easy to follow. I was amused while doing the quest chain as it portrays the Kelethin citizens as sentimental smucks, then they go all hardball and kick you out of town.

Haven does a good job of making you feel like a fringe member of society, I felt like an Echo Caverns mutant from EQ1.

My one moment of doubt was upon zoning into Nektulos at night, in a rain storm and getting very lost in the dark amongst much higher /con mobs. I ended up wasting alot of time discovering the map in Nektulos only to later discover Darklight Woods (I went everyway but east to start).

I probably would have done the entire quest chain 1/2 as fast if I had rolled a character in Neriak before, though there is a certain enjoyment of only having 1 character in the game and knowing that everything I have done is with it.

I like Inquisitor thus far, though I have to look up a bunch of the spells since there is quite the difference (on the surface at least). Neriak is my favourite city so far, though I haven't really explored Qeynos or Freeport yet.

Morning. I finished the betrayal to Kelethin and have started the writs.
Managed to get the first TS title so far and working on the adventure ones now. Its not that much fun having to re-learn all the skills.

On the plus side i discovered i had won a 32 inch TV in a raffle over Xmas and no-one had bothered to tell me. Tried hooking it to my computer and playing EQ2, great experience. Now have to move everything around so i can use it for gaming. Most likely leave that for a week or so.

didn't do too much yesterday. just some rush orders on my troll conjuror/provisioner (yes, a troll conj, and the only one on my server YAY for uniqueness). got him from 20 up to just shy of 26 (and I mean JUST shy. I was at 99.4% when I had to log off for work). probably gonna crank out some more writs today and try to get him to 30. then I got to go and get my mining skill to 90 so I can work on An Axe from the Past HQ, as well as getting my foresting up to 30 so I can do the second tradeskill society quest. fun times there. but oh, well. I'm enjoying it.

Gratz on joining the winning side. ;)

Hey how 'bout that Super Bowl? Holy cow that was a good game. Very exciting. Quality football. Congrats Steeler fans.

I didn't play all week as a result of work + Super Bowl prep. Maybe this week!

I made hubby a bunch of Superbowl snacks and tried to ignore the game. I also spent most of the weekend playing Puzzle Quest II - casual games FTW! I was supposed to be getting Erollisi Day infoz off Test but the Freeport-side quest is borked atm.

We did head up to Moors where Hubby healed my wimpy Templar so I could do quests before they got grey to me....

Eh, green, blue, "not white". I have a B*tch of a time on the even-con mobs up there. Had the same problem in Kunark.
