Did Arena or Battlegrounds ever get implementedFollow

I quit about a month after Kunark was released. I just found the game became boring cause nobody ever wanted to group anymore and the various faction grinds were just useless to me. Anyways not getting into an arguement over that, I am just wondering if the Arena/PVP battlegrounds ever got implemented fully? I had heard they had planned to make it bascially kinda like WOW where you earned pvp points for entering battlegrounds and such and that you could use them to buy PVP gear? Has anybody ever heard anything about that?

I got sucked into WOW mainly because alot of my friends play it. I have a couple of toons near max level and really I enjoy the game for the most part. However I am getting sick of server lag that Blizzard doesn't seem to want to fix. I don't go for sitting in a queue for 5 minutes every time I want to log on and play the game.

Also wondering are people back to actually grouping again or are people still dead set on grinding mindless solo reps? I know pre Kunark I could jump into a dungeon group about anytime without any problems. In fact I couldn't have been happier during the Echo's of Faydwear era (sorry on spelling).

Give your WoW server another week or two. The queue time will be gone.
