What is there to do? I'm currently a a lvl 39 and wonder what the endgame content is like besides raiding.
Im in a casual raiding guild and I find there is still plenty to do after 80. With the new expansion you now have a ton of different instances to do after 80, there are a ton of quest lines still to work on, you can work on your epic, faction to earn different recipes for tradeskilling. And thats not really getting into all of the raids you can join.
I have yet to find nothing to do on my lvl 80 characters and I've been 80 for awhile now. Still plenty to do. I know a lot of folks who feel the game only begins at 80

Like DSD says, there's a heck of a lot to do at 80. Even if only all the lvl +70 quests scattered all over. The Kunark ones are enough on their own to get you there, with the new expansion, there's no way you run out of things to do even after hitting 80.
Then there's the instances, if not raid then the one group ones. Most are challenging and fun to do, although there were some I didn't care much for. There are decent enough rewards to do them.

Plus once you're 80 you finally can work on getting all your spells upgraded. And that costs a bit of plat. Especially if you want to try to get Masters sheesh. You can also start saving up for a big boy mount. (Though you can get that before 80 if you have the cash and a guild with a high level).
For me personally the big joy of hitting 80 (In one level, and 20%) is going to be that your normal xp is converted into AA xp. Granted its not a large amount but it's something.
