let me clarify something about my post. I was having a blast until my computer crashed. until I get my computer back (short somewhere, just don't have the time to troubleshoot it myself, so have to pay someone to find the short and hope that it's not too bad) I can't play any EQ2, Vanguard, SWG, or anything. so until then, I'm just SOL. but I hope to have my computer back within the next week or two, and definitely be back in game by the 18th. Then I will go back to enjoying the expansion again hehe

I can't really comment as yet, too much lag to play decently. It looks fairly nice, but perhaps too much of a bottleneck entrance to the zone.

The new AA's don't really seem like all that much of an improvement, but I suppose after I get some, I might get to like them more.

So early days as yet.

I wish there were solo/duo scalable zones. My honey and I play together so we can take breaks, get drinks, eat etc whenever we want and enjoy playing duo in dungeons.

The lag needs to be addressed, but I'm sure it will be in a patch in the near future (*fingers crossed*).

Nice mix of play styles. I dig.

I think loot distribution between the dungeons needs to be rethought (you generally only see groups for one or two of the dungeons regularly).

Moors could've been two zones. Poor logical flow between "areas".

I can't find any damn sea turtles. I found some turtles..and they were in the sea..but they didn't update the quest.

It's no Kunark, but still fun.

Hiya Stu, was wondering where you were...then saw you post a couple things on Flames, so I knew you were alive! Good good.

I'm loving the new expansion. I'm really enjoying the new zones and some of the thought put into them. Quite a lot of new zones too. I haven't completed half of them yet (and I was off for 12 days following the expansion), let alone the raid content.

I'm also enjoying some of the tweaks my class got, as well as building up more AAs. My choices are fun I find.

Two thumbs up for me :)

I've spent some time running around the Moors and the Swamp, even visited some instances (on my own, so not all that far as everything sees invis and FD'ing my way through it all is almost impossible, almost anyway) and so far I'm not all that impressed.

The new AA's are quite good, judging by description mostly, but most I will not have for quite some time to come. Grouping is the only answer to that. All the quests I've done so far have gotten me about 4 AA's, I don't really have all that many solo quests left so I doubt I'll get another 4 by just doing those.

The lag has improved, but isn't totally gone as yet, which makes fighting annoying but not impossible as it was last week.

The zones themselves are confusing to run around in and don't really feel large to me. Faydwer and Kunark definitely did, this new one compares more to the Ro expansion for me anyway.

All in all, more of a meh to me so far.

I really feel like I've been shafted by this expansion. It has solely been the cause of NOT being able to get groups if you are lower than level 70, because the "precioussses" (shards) cannot be gotten in sufficient quantity if you have to "drag along" someone who is only Lv 50-70. It has gotten to the point where even when one of my friends does drag me out for a mission or a "shard run" I still feel like I am holding them back. So, from the perspective of someone who can't even USE the content they BOUGHT, yeah...kinda wishing now I had stayed at Lord of the Rings, personally...this one was ONLY for the 80-and above people.

Quite Disappointed

total meh. One new outdoor zone, the AAs are ok but nothing steller, so far from what I've seen there isnt too much difference in raid zones, and the zones they have are identical to the group instance zones. Void shard loot for non raiders is great, but I'm not finding anything major to buy with mine so they're piling up and there isnt that drive to get out there and get more.

I've really lost the drive to play lately. A part of it is being preggers I get motion sick real fast now so that is enahncing the mehness, but even if I was not getting sick, I just dont see that much offered to keep the fun going.

I hated Kingdom of Sky and that was always my least favorite expansion, but comparing the two I think I prefer KOS to TSO. Whens the next expansion due?

I want to get this expansion but WoW and Fallout 3 are taking precedence at this moment.

Actually, I don't even have enough free time to play those games I have bought...

Getting old and responsible sucks.

Is there a new expansion?

J/K - I have it but have not yet installed it or restarted my subscription.

I'm having so much fun exploring all the new content in LoTRO that I haven't had time to check out EQ2 yet.

Maybe at some point before New Years...

Lady DSD, I totally understand you! The first three months of being pregnant I didn't play at all. I lost complete interest in the game and I just wanted to relax. Now I'm further along, almost 7 months and I'm back into playing a lot. Good luck on your preggers!

I've got major Lag on my server.
Avoiding this area for now.

It's a well-made expansion they made it alot better than LDoN was in EQ1. The zones feel alot less tedious, the "adventure currency" is universal so you dont have to run the same instance over and over to get your gear. Tier 1 armor has a fairly low cost to it so it really doesnt take to long to gear up. Although I enjoy this expansion I still like EoF and RoK alot more. It was a good "Fill In" expansion though on a year where the level cap is not being raised.

I've enjoyed it.. it has motivated me to get my alts up to level 50 in there tradeskills which I've been lazy about. Now, I'm spending more time leveling their tradeskills so they can use the cannons and do the tradeskill quests which give them an opportunity to get the disco experience.

I still havent gotten to the tradeskill instances, but I'm actually finding the void shard zones quite fun. There are house items, lucrative drops (though they are no trade, they still sell nicely), and for a non-raiding player such as myself the new armor sets are a very nice upgrade.
