Friday the 13th comes on a Monday this week! (anyone know that reference?)

I spend my Live time in Fens, doing blue quests 'cause my Troubador just can't hardly do even-cons in Kunark. But I got like 9 of the done!

Meanwhile, in IRL, it rained Friday and gave is a tiny taste od fall, then back to snow on Sunday, we must have got 3 inches or so.

Happy 13th!
I am exhausted. Since the guild halls went live I've been one of the 2 chief decorators of our tier 3 guild hall and I have been staying up into the wee hours of the morning each day trying to get as much done with it. Fortunately (thank god) it is almost done, with only polishing and minor touches to do. The guild wants to enter the contest so I cant post pics of the whole place yet, but here is a small peek at one of the fish tanks I designed in our war room.
head on:

The hall is open to the public though, so if you have a toon on Blackburrow or feel like making one to wander, it's on the Freeport side, Guild Bane.

In RL my 6 yr old got sick on Sat evening. He is home from school, dealing with fever cough and achy muscles, but he's cozily wrapped up in blankets playin Wii Transformers

Hi all :)

Well lets see. Had a very fun week setting up the guildhall. Loving it. Got all the amenities in that we wanted most and set up a great tradeskilling area. I was never much of a tradeskiller myself, but now I'm inspired to do a bit! Hats off to the devs hehe. I really enjoy seeing everyone contributing to get things set up nicely. Using the hall as a hub is really convenient too I find.

Aside from that I worked on my Epic...yes, I know..I negelected it forever lol. Almost done though finally. 2 kills left pretty much. After that I'll push my inquisitor up his last level and a half and get to work on my dusty Dirge.

Work was killing me for the last few months but I've finally got my playtime back. Just got started rebuilding my raid crew. Third raid in now. First went well and picked up pretty much where we had left off...second was...painful! lol. Have some spots to fill and will take some doing to get things going smoothly again. That's part of the fun for me though...so good times ahead :)

Hope everyone else is doing well!

Decorating! We bought our T1 hall on Thursday (hey we're modest ok? We don't need to be over extravagant off the bat, especially when we don't even know if SOE is going to change things yet in the future or have problems with the guild halls), and the leaders and officers have been working around the clock fine tuning every area to suit everyones visual delights.

As for my own personal adventures, I've been building up my D.I.R.T.Y. coin collection in anticipation of the release of the cloth armor. I think 62 coin's is a little over board, considering I already have the monkey, the cloak, the helmet, and that retarded robot (which actually likes to fight my other house pets, so it's sort of amusing). Not all my time was spent on my necro however, I managed to get my alt's a carpet mount, yay for a level 1 Coercer getting to level 8 and then getting a 35% speed mount.

In the real world things were less exciting. We've been busy winterizing our house (my favorite time of year, /end sarcasm). Also filling out Adopt-A-Pet papers. I hope that we hear from them soon, as both mom and I are huge animal lovers, and big or small, we hope to bring happiness into a deserving animal's life.

Working on getting my provisioner to level 80. He is at 48 right now and wishing everyday that vitality lasted longer and recovered faster... I find it painful to level without vitality. I know there are potions I can claim but its still a slow process. I doubt I will get anywhere close to max level by the middle of november but I should be at least level 60 or so.

I think I will concentrate more on crafting with this next expansion. Or at least thats the plan for today. It will most likely change by tomorrow.

No, I'll have to go back and look at that. I really liked the quill pens at the tables.

All this talk of decorating has really gotten my creative juices flowing...

What do y'all think, should I roll up a new alt to make a carpenter or just switch my 40 something woodworker over to carpenter?

I would roll a new alt. Getting through the 20's and even the 30's are really quick with vitality and exp potions. Also, there seems to be a ton of cheap crafting materials on the broker with the exception of roots and some metals.

I am scrambling to get my provisioner to 80 as quickly as possible and I tried crafting last night without vitality and it wasn't as painful as I thought. I am almost @ 50 (49.8) and can get a level for every hour and 15-30 minutes of playtime without vitality. Thats not too bad. It will slow down as you progress but its not as bad as I thought.

Plus, a carpenter gets a bunch of new recipes every level now. At least early on.

Rush Orders or Writs also give you some extra tradeskill xp.
