Paraffin Documents, Coral Amulets, Blackened Iron Relics and others like them. I have been all over freeport trying to turn these into whatever NPC I am supposed to give em to and I can't find anyone.

Where the heck do I turn these suckers in!

There are four different factions in Freeport (and in Qeynos as well) NPCs for each faction will purchase the items they are interested and pay you in status (raising your faction with that group). The four correspond to the four class archtypes. Each tier of mob will drop a different 'quality' of item so for example, in one tier you'll see 'coral amulets' and in the next tier there will still be amulets, but they will be of a different material.

Scouts - documents
Mages - amulets
Fighters - relics
Priests - (can't remember atm)

The archtype will give you an idea of where to find the buyers.

My assumption would be to go to the fighters guild or mages guild or whatever. Where does my brigand go? I don't recall ever seeing a thieves guild anywhere

It has nothing to do with your class, but the "classes" of the major factions in your city. You know how, when you do city tasks, you get faction for the Priests or Warriors or whatever? Those factions.

Let's see if I get this right:

Documents go to the Scouts (Aroudn the Eldarr Tree in Elddar Grove in Qeynos)
Amulets go to Priests (The Temple of Life in North Qeynos)
Relics go to Warriors (The castle in North Qeynos)
Scrying Stones go to Mages (The Mage Tower in South Qeynos)

I dunno the Freeport ones, sorry.

Find a merchant for one of these and if you've got the right faction the item will sell for status as well as a copper or so. If you're in a guild often the guild will get status too, depending on the level of the item and level of the guild.

edit: sounds like a goot topic for my next guide, lol.

It's a Scouts Guild, not thieves. Smiley: smile

In FP, it's in SFP, and the scout trainers are on the boat. Which is in the water. hehe.

And you didn't mention it, but the priests are right across the street from the mages.

Personally, I usually take those items to a <Guild Status Merchant>.

The difference is in cities though. Qeynos has multiple Status Merchants who only take certain items, as does Freeport. It can be very confusing trying to figure out who takes what and running back and forth only to turn in a few little trinkets.

Neriak only has one Status Merchant, who takes all levels and all types of status items. It helps when you can unload them all at on NPC.

I like the merchant you can get in your guild hall that will buy all your status drops. I hate all that running around to sell them.

Just make sure that when selling the item that the Relic Hunter is offering cash, plus a number in blue - the Status Points. If it doesn't have the blue SP amount, don't sell.

Also note that you may not see your guild status increase if your guild level is higher than the tier of the relic (examine the relic as per the image that Calthine posted). Your personal status will always increase though. If your guild level is too high and you don't need the personal status, people will pay very good money for relics on the broker
