Whats the point of Commanding Presence? It enlarges me by 20% but thats all it says it does. Ok so I'm a bigger ogre...so what? It doesn't say anything about str and stam bonuses so it appears to be useless. The Necro's shrink pet spell seems kinda pointless to.

People liked 'em in EQ :) In EQ, the pet shrink was really useful with you had huge pets in small spaces and finger-wigglers had to have line-of-sight to cast.

every class gets some kind of useless "fun" spell. It doesnt do anything except for a graphic change. you dont need them, you rarely use them, but once in while they're fund to play with. In fact, and ogre or troll with the resize is pretty damn funny when you're sitting on your warg or rhino at the broker. Being a fae I tend to only come up to the rhinos toes

Actually, both my necro and my templar got a 'fun' spell that shows off body heat. Totally useless right? Not really. It makes spotting fish underwater super easy.

I was kinda hoping it made my strength more or something. It just makes me duck and crouch through doorways hes so damn big ha
I completely agree, those spells are useless. There is one, however that you can get from a necro trainer that'll turn you and your group into skeletons. That one's kinda pointless too, but sometimes it's just fun to confuse the hell out of people.
