Do my necromancers critters steal exp from me? It just dawned on me that my spider and dead mage dude may be robbing me.

I don't think so. But didn't pets take some of your exp in EQ1 for a while? It's been so long now, can't remember for sure.

no, necromancer and conjurer pets do NOT take xp from you.

In Eq1, if a Necromancer killed a mob and didn't inflict any direct melee or spell damage, and just allowed the pet to kill, there would be an experience penalty.

In the later years of EQ1 there was no such thing in existence. At least when I played I never had to worry about it. So if there was a thing like this I'm glad it was before my time.
