Decree (Master I) for a pallyFollow

#1 Sep 21 2008 at 2:40 PM Rating: Decent
I just hit level 50 with my pally and got a new spell, Decree. I want to get the master but can't find any on the broker. Searching online to see what mob drops it and all that comes up is a SK spell by the same name. Looked on eq2wiki and found the right one but it only lists info up to Ad3. Is that as high as one can upgrade this spell? I hope not. Any information would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.

ETA: I can't figure out this signature thing. Tried to put my Signature page fro eq2players.com here but it's not working. 'sigh' I'm such a mess. :]

Last question first - these boards only permit text sigs - no graphics.

Every spell is available as a master. However, specific master spells are never dropped by a specific mob. The loot tables are not that narrow. The spell you're looking for could potentially drop off of any mob that can drop a master chest with a lvl 50 spell in it. The list will include any named in the lvl range of 50 to 53 or 55 and any non-named mob lvl 50 - 53 or 55.

Your best bet is still going to be to haunt the broker until it appears.

Okay, thank you. That's a bit discouraging but I guess it is what it is. Seems like the chance of having a named drop the specific master that I need, considering all the different masters out there, is pretty slim.

It is slim. That's the beauty of the Master market though. Even if you don't get the one you specifically need to drop, you can either sell it for the cash to offset the cost when yours does show up on the broker, or try to trade it for one you need. It all comes around.

Frankly I wouldn't worry too much about it. It's a taunt so it's good to master if you are tanking a lot, but you can probably get by with the Adept III (buy or harvest the rare then find an alchemist). At the very least that will hold you over until you come across the master.

Sadly...you can just buy the Ad3 version and be set...the master isnt THAT much better...i also recommend looking for Ad3 or M1 amends...that is super helpful :P
