Good Morning, AllaK's - 8/18/08Follow

Good morning, happy campers.

We'll see if this boat flies once again.

Spent the weekend running through most of the Kunzar Jungle quests on my coercer. Dinged 76 and 77 in the process. Also helped a pal run through a bunch of his. We had been duo'ing the entire solo quest line through KP and Fens, but come KJ we got off-kilter and so we've been trying to get it all back around to where our quest journals are even. That's tough in KJ. KJ quest progression just feels sloppy compared to the other Kunark zones. You end up filling your quest journals and having SO MUCH to do that you can get a bit overwhelmed trying to decide where to go next.

Managed to score Master I Dictate (the highest level coercer charm spell) for 50pp. Good times are afoot.

Logged in Stu to make some weapons for some folk and check the broker. I've got a feeling he's going to be pretty much shelved until the expansion.

Speaking of the expansion - Woo Guk! And woo HQ's are back! That is all.

How was your weekend?

I reinstalled and reactivated my account this weekend! Granted, I didn't do much of anything but patch, but I got a brief bit of playtime before leaving for work this morning while trying to dress my midget for daycare.

I think I'm going to re-roll and try the new starting area, since reactivation unlocked all the entitlement content. I'm aware this contributed nothing to the actual purpose of this post, but it's the only place I could justify my re-entry into the EQII Alla crowd without making a new post. :P I'll probably just lurk for a while until I get my feet wet again, I haven't played since mid/late 2007.

Heh. Well the purpose of the post is a recap of your activities, toon status updates and anything else you think the class might find interesting. Your post certainly qualifies.

And welcome back!

Friday would have been a city raid, which I just started doing but we (the guild Envy) had to reschedule it for saturday, and I wouldnt be around. So I kinda missed out on that one no biggie.

Actually on Saturday I was around but I wasn't at home, and I was on someone elses computer and didnt feel like dorking around with her ui unless I really needed. That and she only has speakers on her main pc, and raids are pretty much voice required. Unless you sacrifice a puppy to our leader, then she might let you come with.

Sunday I hung out with my hippie friend. He's not like the save the tree's hippie, but the 'I only use natural products and no deoderant' hippie. The funny part was I picked him up from the gym where he was doing laps in the pool, and he still smelled like a dirty hippie. God I love him.

Then I came home late Sunday night, did a few writs and went to bed after the goblins in Lavastorm hand me my *** a few times.

hmm. I didn't do crap this weekend on any game....too much. played a little Vanguard. played a little EQ2. participated in an EQ2 tournament and got grouped with people who couldn't figure out their class from a rock on the ground...met Calthine in person. met bludwyng in person. met Brasse and Mom in person. met the crafting goddess herself, Domino(and several other devs and community relations people from SOE). learned about an awesome new game coming out (no, not DCUO). ok, a total of 3 new games in development. almost passed out with everyone else in the room when the devs unveiled all the goodies (and cost) of the guild halls. absorbed WAY too much information over this weekend. umm, I think that's all. maybe, I hope. not sure. could be..........
