Im assuming you would need premium in order to use everything with this? (guildies were asking). Seems like a pretty cool idea and I know Allahs has been working on zam.com for awhile. Really nice that EQ2 is going to get some major lovin over here
eq2.zam.com will be the Wikibase with the improved database (data straight from SOE) and all the broker info, dressing room, alert services and all that jazz. Certainly some of those services will require premium membership, but the basic database and wiki that you have now for free should be staying free.
The new site will start with the new data from SOE, matched to any and all wiki content we have currently tied to the same names, so we lose nothing and get an even better working platform to build on.
Not to mention that the new DB will have all the Quest info that you see in-game, and all of the4 mobs, leaving it up to us (that's us AND you!) to add via the wiki all the stuff we REALLY want to have, like how to get that next quest step to update.

The answer is "It's still under discussion." We're not going to become an all-premium site, tho.
