first files for expansion 5 discoveredFollow

ok, guys and gals. my updater was locking up on a couple files today, and lo and behold, I discovered the first files for expansion 5 (and for the new dungeon that's supposed to be coming out in TWO MONTHS(though originally slated for August). guess they got a tad trigger happy on loading up the files).

Any way, if you go to the Paks folder in your EQ2 directory (after the update), you will notice two new files in there.

first file: exp05_dun_veksar.vpk
second file: exp05_dun_veksar_SG.vpk

now, I know those are for the new dungeon in september because if you look at the Living Legacy schedule, they say for September: "Veksar Group Zone - Game Update #48" (and the next line says GU 49, but that's a whole 'nother deal altogether, and nothing to do with this post). and the prefix for those files "exp05" clearly indicates that they are also for Expansion Pack 5.

So there you have it. enjoy the "surprise".

The update is done? I had a feeling that a revamp of gear from 1-50 would take a bit of time. Grats though offering a sneak people, I myself consider everything outside of DLW to be 'new' content though haha. The joy's of starting my journing.

I still dwell within Neriak for a good amount of content, no I'm not a crazy crafter (well I may be crazy), but through word of mouth and healthy advertising my RP bar has started to pick up. I can spend an unhealthy amount of time in my five room inn, simply making sure its clean. (Not to mention I love checking the broker board constantly to see which food/drink is the good seller, and make more).

a lot more of the leaked files are posted on the "Shadow Odyssey" thread on the official forums...but its waaaay to long lol
