Honestly, changes like this tempt me to come back to EQ2. I have been gone for quite some time. Really I do not know why SOE gets such a bad rap. What other company would actually take the time to upgrade the items from the old content of the game to match the new content? I have never heard of such a thing, but that is really awesome. I'm glad to see that the EQ2 team seems to be showing a commitment to not letting the old content become completely outdated and useless, like in pretty much every other MMO that gets expansions.
