I love the Iksar and Kerra but the constant tail wagging is a little off putting, when i get high enough to wear a cape will it hide the tail?
a little, but not really. I just tend to ignore it, but I can also zone out bits of information more effectively that most people (meaning I can consciously ignore only part of what I'm seeing or hearing. most people, its an all or nothing thing, or if they can "selectively ignore", its not a truly conscious decision. but then again, as my friend and I like to joke...I'm a freak of nature *smile*).
I wish you luck in figuring out how to get around the tail wagging problem. but in the meantime, here's a joke...is the Iksar wagging its tail, or is the tail wagging the Iksar? (yeah, its bad, but if you can't laugh at this bad joke...)

The tail animations are part of the character idle animation set (like eye blinks and head turns) for those races ans as such can not be disabled.
