Can anyone tell me if it is a good idea to mentor down befor turning in collections...and is there a good lvl range or bad lvl range...or if anyone knows where I might find this info...thanks

im not sure anymore. now if you turn them in, even if they are grey, u get AA for it. but i think if u want exp and AA then u need to mentor near the lvl range of the collections turn in.
Mentoring down will increase the xp, regular and AA if I'm not mistaken, for it, you can find the level for the collection in your quest journal, it would be best to mentor down to one level below or equal to the level mentioned there. White and yellow quests have the best rewards I believe.
