Rarity Of Ornate+ Chests In Sinking Sands InstancesFollow

I play a 60th Necromancer, and prefer to solo versus group.
I know the % chance drop for Ornate and Exquisite chest drops is lower for soloers than it is for groups, however, whether solo or duo I see that the rarity for Ornate+ chests from named mobs in Sinking Sands instances seems much lower than it is for other zones I've soloed. I spent a lot of time farming Nek Castle in my 30's / 40's and regularly saw Ornate chests dropping there from the Everling Sisters for instance.

A guildmate tells me that previously, Ornate+ used to drop regularly in The Sanctorium, however I'm yet to see Ornate+ from a Sanctorium boss and have only ever seen 2 Ornates drop in Living Tombs. Can anyone explain when this changed, and the scope of the change? Have all the Desert of Flames zones been affected?

Cheers.

I've soloed my Monk up to lvl 80, pretty much anyway. I can only recall two ornate chests, two masters during all those levels.

That includes fighting a lot of named mobs, although ofcourse never the really interesting ones when they are green.

I haven't heard of any reorganisation regarding chest drops though, but that means little as I don't always read the updates fully.

I always thought the whole Desert of Ro expansion was weak on loot. Between a paladin a necro I don't think I ever found any upgrades in that whole expansion. I didn't do any raid content there but I did run about all the instances there are to run.
