Problems with Templar Cure SpellFollow

#1 May 29 2008 at 3:52 PM Rating: Decent
Hi all....

I am a lvl 56 Templar with the new lvl 56 Cure: Ardent Resolve. Adept III (the combined version of the cures). It says “dispels 87 levels of any…” We were fighting lvl 54 mobs. I don’t think there should have been any problem with curing what they would put on us with this spell.

It does not seem like it is curing anything. I cast it; watch and I would say that 98% of the time, nothing seems to drop. With the old separated spells, I could clearly see ailments dropping from the group members.

Now even if there is only1 trauma on a ally, if I cast it, it does not drop. And if it does, because of how rarely it looked like it was working, I am not really sure if it was working, or had just worn off by then.

I had 4 AA’s into Noxious, 5 into Trauma, and 3 in the rest.

This had gotten to the point of frustration, that I ended up resetting my aa’s and using those points towards aa’s that I knew would actually help me do my job as a healer. At that point I just stopped using the Cure spell. It just seemed like I was using power on a spell that appeared to do nothing other than, burn power.

Is anyone else having problems with the new combined cures not working up to standard? I am not sure if I am missing something, or the new combined spell is just not working right.

Another question I have is, when I still had the aa’s in them, (the cures) it showed the added benefit listed on the spell, when I would examine it, in green. I was talking to a Guide today and tried to put some of the aa’s back on them, and I now do not have anything appearing in green. Is there something I am not doing?

Any point in any direction would be greatly appreciated. It would be really nice to cure the ailments again, instead of just trying to heal through them.

Oh and also, for my own knowledge, if there are 4 trauma and 2 noxious on each group member; is it supposed to take of 1 of each of these off? Or just 1 off of the trauma or the noxious?

Thanks for any Help.
