I have alts doing all crafts except provisioner & weaponsmith. I was reading on the Station boards that weaponsmiths are useless. I did experience finding better weapons from quests and drops than I could forge at lower levels. Is the weaponsmith awesome at high levels and worth the grind to get there? I whacked my provisioner to create a new character, but I used my provisioner ALL the time. Can someone with experience as a weaponsmith steer me relative to this crafting choice? Thanks.

It's hard to tell on Weaponsmiths right now because GU 45 added per 8k new recipes to the game, all WS and WW weapons (and imbued versions). It will certainly be easier to level, and I can tell you the new Woodworker versions seem to be selling decently, but I think the jury on sustainability is still out.

I don't use my provi much, but IMO if you used yours a lot and liked it, go with that!
