Hello,
I just recently rescued my girlfriend from WoW and have introduced her to EQ2. Fine. However, she insists on playing an assassin with her dark fae. Absolutely will not budge.
The question is, what is a good compliment for an assassin in a duo setting? I was thinking SK for aggro and survivability but am open to any suggestions.

Her assassin will have excellent DPS and will make a good front for your duo.
I'd recommend you make a healer - specifically a druid (fury or warden) so that you can keep her healed, add some more DPS to the mix and port the two of you around.
I think a fury would be the best choice (even though I play a warden) and the bonus of getting SoW & a nice selection of ports to speed up travel and let you get where you're going much faster really sweeten the deal!
