Returning Player: Question about skill advancement :: Free Realms

Hi,

It's been almost a year, (maybe more) since I last picked up this great game. I've been running around, reaquainting myself with the mechanics etc. but one thing has puzzled me. I've gained levels 51-53 and I have not recieved a new skill. Did I miss something? Is there a new merchant/trainer I should go see to get them? Was I supposed to do some quest to let me continue through the ranks? I looked around for a guide and searched the forums but couldn't find an answer...only that there are skills available to me.

Any help would be most appreciated. I'm really glad to be back.

After lvl 50, the game no longer "gifts" you with the app 1 version of each new spell at the beginning of the level. Past the original level cap, you are assumed to be an adult and are made responsible for the acquisition of your own new spells :)

You can purchase these through the broker or find them as drops in all the usual flavors! You can probably also buy the app2 versions from a trainer somewhere but really... why would you want to!

Oh! Thank you! I must've missed that. I'll go and see what I can find on the broker. I think I was more confused than anything.

I find that when I returned things had changed quite a lot! Now I'm feeling my way through Achievement Points and trying to figure out where I left all my quests. It's like jumping into the middle of a novel.
