Lotto CheatsFollow

First off let me say I am not looking for cheats. I just want to know if anyone can honestly say that they do exist. There is one person in our guild that I would swear uses some sort of hack for lotto rolls. If it were just a one day occurance thing. Maybe not. But like every day for the last few weeks we have been noticing a pattern. There are 4 ppl that run in our group and the lotto rolls are usually split even with 3 of us but that one person will roll the total combined of the other 3. Just curious, Am I jealous, just being an idiot, or is there actually something that exists and they are using it to their advantage and our disadvantage

I haven't heard anything about a lotto hack. Google indicates they're out there, but I'm either getting nothing when I click through or they want me to pay them (HAH, love ya all, but I'm not going there in the name of research!).

I feel your pain, though, 'cause I have lousy /random luck. Combine that with a guildie who has really good /random luck, and I get bupkis, lol.

Once a guildie and I tested it. We went and duo'd guards in Maj'dul, just he and I, and lotto'd everything. He got 2/3 the loot.

If you sincerely believe your groupmate has discovered an exploit, the correct action is to /petition him. The GM's will look into it (without anyone being the wiser) and if they find something out of whack, research further to see it it's a hack.

And if they find nothing, no one ever knows you /petitioned.

There is a "commonly held" belief (at least it's common among the folks I play with) that by being in a specific position within the group order, (I believe the system holds all group members in a static order based on when they were invited into the group) a given player will collect a disproportionate amount of random loot. All you need to do to prove or disprove this is to re-arrange the order of invites so that your "lucky duck" is moved to a less than perfect position.

Another option is to use round robin instead of random roll (below legendary). With this option, each player in turn collects the loot from successive mobs unless the mob has something really good in which case you all roll on it.

hi! p rng s the things that make fake random numbers for a computer have a little bit of a weight, so it is very possible that given one to two criteria that your chances of winning an item in a specific instance will be determined heavily due to a less than fair material! hope that helps - Jess
