Check em out

I pretty much drooled when I saw the monk epic. I wasn't overly keen on the fabled version, but I'm all gung ho for the mythical!

I saw the Fabled version of the SK one over the weekend. Haven't seen the Mythical one anywhere yet. I'd be thrilled with either. Just gotta finish the run to 80 so I can get started.

Drooling doesn't really do justice, that's a grand weapon, to say the least.

Makes me want to raid actually.

I was on last night, working my way to lvl 75 when 2nd Dawn made their run at all those raid epics. It was pretty impressive (to say the least) They managed to roll up a handful of (world) discos in a very short period of time.

I say "Three Cheers"!

ok, now correct me if I'm wrong, and they might have changed it for the epic quests, but aren't mythicals supposed to be limited to one of each mythical kind per server?

Now that you mention it, that's what I remember too.

I really think they should let you start the fabled epics at a lower lvl then 80. Reason I say this is because I know i will get bored quick playing my toon at lvl 80 when I am not earning exp. AA wise I bought pretty much all that seems to matter to a necro (tainted heals, pretty much all the important pet aa's, lifeburn). I mean let us start at lvl 78 and a required lvl of 78 on the weapon.

Just my feelings anyways.

normally yes. But normally they also make the first epic legendary, and the higher up one fabled. This time they did it fabled/mythical. Dunno why.

And now that you mention that, lol, I think at Fan Faire they had them as Legendary/Fabled.

If it were the one and only mythical that the first person per server would get it would have a tag of artifact on it. But it's not, and that's the real deal =) Plus, second dawn have two rangers and two guardians and they got the same items. It is ultimately the true epic of the game

Interesting. I wonder what SOE will have planned to top this. seems kind of odd that they would make them mythical instead of fabled and if these are to be the true epics, what's going to be next?

Not all Mythical items are unique actually. I have had the Mythical Terraporter since a few months into the game....4 of us received it at the same time (was a GM reward). Having mulitples of Mythicals on a server would not be new to EQ2.

bah, I got you one better, Cal. the ability to sit in chairs, and lie down on beds. now THAT would be a true improvement in the game *grins*

At FF the devs put it in the "really extremely unlikely to ever happen" category, so I stopped beating that drum.

This is part of the "basic feature set" that was included in LOTRO before launch.

Interestingly enough, I thought the feature would be a big deal for me but after the "gee whiz" newness of it wore off, it became something I only did when VERY bored!

Ironic (to me) that they worked out that chunk of code but had no idea how to give us the option to make a house item rotate so that it would face the direction we wanted it to! Go figure!

Or the ability to decently check loc numbers.

That was pretty annoying.

I know. I'm not expecting it to happen. but it would be a big improvement in the game. oh, well, one less feature to use when actually RPing. c'est le vie.
