SK or NecroFollow

If you want to stand there and get walloped without too much damage, the SK is probably not your best choice of fighter. I would tend to lean towards guardian (high mitigation, low dps) or berserker (medium mit, medium dps - for a fighter), which are generally considered the more able tanks in the game (although there are always exceptions as plenty of SKs, Pallys & Monks will tell you).

Ask yourself, do you want to stand face to face with the mob and clout them, or do you want to dish out some decent dps while your pet(s) keep the mob busy? Both SK & necro are very soloable classes and work well in groups, although many misguided people may prefer a 'true' tank to the SK.

The SK does mainly disease damage, has a number of health & mana taps, good AOE and has a few 'nukes' up his sleeve. The horse (which you have to buy, but is very cheap) is slow, but better than running. Personally I've enjoyed playing my zerker more than my SK. I've not played a necro for long enough to give an opinion.
