This week, we've got an absolutely fantastic interview with Cat Neri, Lead Audio Goddess for EQ2.
She makes it all sound so easy and sexy that I wanted to go right out and try it too, til I remembered that not only am I tone deaf, I'm also completely untalented aurally.
Thank goodness we have Cat! Everyone go give her some good love!
Nice article! I've been a pro-sound guy for many years (with the last 11 of them spent in film/TV post production) and I have been impressed with the audio in EQ2 since day one!
The ingame "foley" (all generic sound effects like footsteps and sword hits are called foley) is the best I have ever heard outside of a big-budget feature film.
The music and V/O (voice overs) are also top notch but the foley is what really caught my ear!
